I'll answer chapter three's questions as best I can from the versions of myths told in percy javkson and my own library
1. Icarus, Daedalus' son
2. 12 labours
3. He was gifted a polished shield and sword by Athena, after gaining directions from Medusa's sisters as to the location of her lair, he looked in the reflection of his shield so he could see her without looking into her eyes and crept up on her from behind, slicing off her head which he later used to turn his king and half his court into stone.
4. Leto, she was cursed by Hera in a jealous rage to not be able to give birth to the twins on land so was forced to give birth on the floating island of Delos
5. Ariadne. She fell in love with Theseus and helped him escape the labyrinth, she escaped with him but he dumped her on an island where Dionysus would later find her and she would become his immortal wife.
6. The Myrmidons or (in simple terms) Greeks.
7. Rhea. It was she that hid Zeus from him and instead fed him a rock.
8. Hector (I think)
