I'm sorry that some people here feel targeted. I believe that there are good people on this site, mainly I was surprised in what I witnessed and dismayed that it happened at all. Needless to say, I have recovered from my initial anger and look forward to communicating more with the positive members of this site. After all, if a son of Zeus can be friends with a son of Poseidon, we can get along too, right?

There's a limited few people who really ruin everything and I have to say I've been on here for a very long time and that pool of people doesn't really get too bad. I've made a lot of good friends on here and it's worth it.
On the other hand, I'm seriously sick of people coming on this site and trashing it. You know, we aren't bad people so why do you have to ruin it for everyone else? It's selfish, immature, and tells me you don't deserve any kind of friendship because frankly you're not worth the time. I have no sympathy for people who automatically lash out. Handle it like an adult instead of a two year old throwing a tantrum and calling people names. I'm sick of whiny little brats crying about stuff that's happened to them on this site but here's the thing - maybe, just maybe, if you'd DROP IT and MOVE THE HELL ON this wouldn't continue to be an issue or brought up. Like @missie mouse said....you don't have to like someone or their opinion but that doesn't give you the right to bash them for it.

It's really just the one person that's gotta ruin it for everyone. You should try to make friends thou, there are some very nice people on this site. It's just that some people have to be real dicks to each other.

Apparently, some people (I'm not targeting anyone in general, don't be offended) insist on being aggressive no matter the circumstances.
And, seriously, I can't help it that Cady attacks me every time I say something that SOUNDS LIKE it relates to her.
I think she hates me...
I must say that I am very disappointed in the turn out of what was supposed to be a fun experiment. I am new to this site, relatively speaking, and I have been very excited to make friends who share similar interests as I do. However, what I have seen tonight does not inspire me to continue pursuing these friendships. We may not like one another, nor are we expected or obligated to do so. A sad fact of life is that we will never all get along, but there is a time and place for these quarrels and this is not it. I am disgusted by the behavior that I have witnessed, and the SLURS that I have seen thrown about on this feed.
We are here because we share a similar interest in writing, reading, and Percy Jackson. We are not here to put one another down, point fingers, or blame one another for meaningless things. Please remember that this site is a community. A community means that we build each other up instead of tearing down. If for just one minute we tried to focus on the positives that we could contribute to this site and our relationship with one another, we could become much stronger authors instead of fighting amongst ourselves on a public feed.
I am not trying to sound preachy or to make anyone feel alienated or ashamed, but there is no reason for what I am witnessing right now.
