The Girl Under the Tree

"PERCY!"
With a playful grin on his face, he jumped into the water. When his head finally bobbed up, A very wet, angry looking blonde Athena's daughter was standing there, soaked in water, arms crossed, glaring at him.
"I could have drowned!" She said.
"You didn't." Percy pointed out, getting out of the water. Nothing happened for a few seconds, then Annabeth pushed into the water again. Of course, it didn't hurt the son of the god of seas, but it did startle him.
When he came out of the water again, Annabeth muttered, "That was payback." With a grin on her face. Suddenly, jaw dropped.
"What?" Percy asked.
"Look!" Annabeth pointed over the Half-Blood hill. A girl was sitting by Thalia's pine tree, but she was in a stiff posture, as if she was meditating.
"Who's that?"
"I dunno. Lost demigod?"
Percy shrugged. "Could be. Let's find out."

When they got closer, they could see details. The girl's hair was black and straight. Her skin seemed strangely translucent and she flickered.
"Um... Annabeth," Percy whispered. "Is this some sort of monster that I don't know about?"
Surprisingly, Annabeth shook her head. "I've never seen anything... like... her." She whipped out her cap. "I'm going to see." She announced. "Don't do anything."
Percy nodded. Annabeth turned invisible.
The girl still didn't move.
Suddenly, she opened her eyes. There was no color in her irises. She stopped flickering and her body turned solid. A brown color filled her eyes, and she looked more human.
For a moment, she hummed under her breath.
"Who are you?" She finally asked. Her voice was smooth yet some parts were cracked. When Percy came closer, he realized that she was still a little see-through, like a ghost or a spirit.
Annabeth took off her cap and appeared behind the girl. The girl didn't look fazed.
"Who are you?" She asked. "Are you a monster?"
"Asha."
"What?"
The girl stood up. "You asked me who I was. My name is... Asha."
"Are you a demigod?" Percy blurted.
Asha touched the tree, and suddenly Percy and Annabeth's fingertips felt numb. "Demigod?" She asked, clearly not knowing what it was. Or maybe she didn't want to believe what she thought it was.
"Half god, half human." Annabeth supplied. "Half Greek or Roman god."
"There are more of you?" Asha asked.
"Yes."
Her body was still slightly translucent, and she shrugged.
Annabeth looked at Percy, sharing a glance.
We should bring her to Chiron.
