The Girl Hidden in Shadows

"NICO! COME BACK HERE!"
Clarisse's face was bright red with anger. She looked frustrated. Nico was trying to run, but as he was laughing, it was hard to gain balance. Clarisse caught up and grabbed him by his arm.
"Give it back!" She screeched.
Several campers turned to look. Nico was holding a baby picture of Clarisse and her mother--Ms. La Rue, holding her daughter. They looked so peaceful, and for once, Clarisse looked cute.
So, I take it back; Clarisse's face wasn't red with anger, it was red with embarrassment.
Before anybody could do anything, Nico disappeared, folded by the shadows.

Wait--what?
Something stopped him, and he stumbled back into open air. But a girl appeared out of nowhere. She seemed confused, but tried not to show it. Her eyes were looking everywhere--as if they were scanners, as if they were taking everything in.
"Wait. Who are you?" Nico looked straight at the girl, but looked away.
She had frizzy curly brown hair, and crystally blue eyes. Nico thought her skin was pale, but then he realized that she was slightly translucent.
She had no demigod aura around her. She wasn't a special mortal like Rachel, because she didn't seem to notice the spears and swords and knives around the arena. Her eyes locked with Nico's for a moment, when he turned away.
She stared. "Am I dead?" She asked.
Nico's eyes widened. "You're--You..."
Clarisse looked at Nico, then at the girl, then back at Nico. "You know who she is?"
"That's Bianca."
She looked at him like he was crazy. "No way. That girl doesn't even look like di Angelo."
The girl coughed. Everybody's attention turned to her. Then she did the least expected thing that everyone thought was going to happen.
She laughed.
A joyful, colorful laugh. It had no sense of cruelty, or the thoughts were covered well. But she laughed. Her form flickered, then it solidified.
"Nico." She gurgled. "Oh, I remember. Camp Half-Blood!"
She grinned like she was drunk.
"What's you're name?"
She paused, and cocked her head. "Tacey." She said. "Tacey Linten."
Everyone looked at each other, whispering questions asking if anyone knew her. Everyone shook their head.
Someone was about to say something, but the door burst open.
Annabeth and Percy was carrying a girl.
"Apollo. Healers. Now."
Tacey stopped dead and stared. Her mouth hung open like she couldn't believe what she was seeing. She rushed over to the girl.
"No way." She murmured. "No way... Asha?"
