Campers made way as Tacey staggered towards the girl, Asha.
"Asha?" She mumbled. "That's you?"
Asha mumbled something like, "Focus... friend..."
Annabeth looked confused. "Focus, friend?" She asked, but no one clarified it for her. A daughter of Athena, not knowing something? But everyone's mind was waiting to see what happened.
Tacey looked confused and surprised. "But... she... she's not..."
One of the Apollo girls snapped into attention. "I'll take her to the infirmary. She needs to rest."
But Tacey clutched Asha's hand protectively, and also as if she couldn't believe that Asha was actually there. "No..." She murmured. "This is one thing I can hold on to."
Everyone looked confused.
The Apollo girl, Elsa, tried to explain to Tacey that Asha had to go right now, but she kept shaking her head and mumbling about friends. About staying, about not falling off.
Eventually, Elsa dragged Tacey with her.
Tacey knelt at Asha's side, mumbling again. People stared at her like she was crazy. She probably was.
Percy and Annabeth came to Elsa.
"The fact that they've just appeared in camp," Annabeth stated, "And even in a strange way--Tacey pushed Nico out of his shadow travel, and Asha appeared under Thalia's tree--they might be a threat."
Elsa shook her head. "I don't think so." She said. "They seem harmless. They might be demigods, too. Asha is sick. Tacey is mad."
Percy nodded. "Did she end up in the Labyrinth or something?"
Annabeth frowned. "I don't think she did. The way she appeared... And she must've had a reason to go there."
Elsa agreed. "Did she make one of the gods angry?"
Annabeth looked like she was thinking. "Probably."
At that moment, they heard a yell from the infirmary.
