The Demigod Games

Miranda:
I smirk as I watch the little girl run away.
"Well, lets keep looking for losers to kill." I say loftily.
"Do you think she'll tell?" Marco asks.
I laugh. "Oh sweetie, did you see her expression? She wouldn't dare. She knows that I'll uphold my promise if she does."
Marco pales slightly.
I go over to him. "Oh don't worry. I wouldn't do anything to hurt you." I say sweetly.
Marco shifts away slightly.
I stomp down my annoyance at his constant refusal of me.
I turn. "Come on. Lets keep moving."
We walk until I see a girl wandering through the forest. It takes me a minute until I recognize who she is. She's Penny, Logan's half sister.
"Stay here. I'll take care of her." I whisper.
Marco puts a hand on my shoulder. "Don't you think we should just let her go?" He asks.
I glare at him. "Listen, I want to win this. I invited you into this alliance, and you have no right to tell me what to do. After all, I am going to help you get revenge on the girl who killed your ex-girlfriend. So let me do what I want." I hiss.
Truth is, I am not just hunting down Sienna because of Marco. She had injured me yesterday, and I didn't take lightly to that. I wanted Sienna to suffer. She was a bitch, a haughty and proud daughter of Zeus. I wouldn't kill her in the ambush. I wouldn't kill Jake either. I'd hurt her badly, then take her prisoner. Then she would have to watch as I killed her precious Jake, slowly, watching him bleed out in front of her. She would her his screams of agony, and that would drive her insane. But only after that, would I allow Marco to kill her.
Marco nods, his expression slightly fearful.
"Now, if you don't want to see a gory death, I suggest you turn around." I say.
I turn and walk behind the girl. I draw my knife.
"Hello." I say.
Penny spins around, holding up a spear. She sees me and she pales.
"Please don't hurt me." She whispers. "I can help you, we can travel together!" She offers.
I laugh. "Oh, but I have no use for a pathetic little kid like you. I have my brother and I have another warrior with me already. You'd just cause a disturbance." I say.
"Please. Have mercy." She cries.
"Oh, but I will. I will try to make your death as quick and painless as possible." I lie smiling sweetly.
Penny bursts into tears as she lifts her spear.
I dash in knocking her spear down and stabbing her in her stomach. Penny doubles over. I stand over her grinning.
"Poor little Penny." I murmur teasingly.
I pull her head back and I slit her throat. She collapses on the floor in a heap. A few seconds later I hear a cannon.
I grab her supplies and her spear. I then flounce back over to Caine and Marco.
I throw the stuff on the floor. "Done!" I say.
Marco is looking at me with a slightly disgusted look on his face.
Caine notices and smirks. I narrow my eyes, daring him to say something. Despite the fact my brother is older, I have more power, and I'm a better fighter. I'm more feared, and I sure as hell don't like it any other way.
I turn to Marco, who's still looking at me with a disgusted face. "Oh sweetie, you shouldn't judge. After all, you killed your best friend yesterday." I say smirking.
His face twists into an expression of self hatred.
"Wouldn't Terry be so proud?" I grin knowingly. My comment struck him hard, hitting him where it hurt the most. "Come on boys. We still have losers to kill!"
