The Demigod Games

Percy:
"Hey, Annabeth?" I ask
Annabeth looks up, her stormy gray eyes beautiful. "Yeah?"
"Um, can we sit down for a while? We have been walking the entire day, and its getting late. We should set up our tent." I say.
"Sure." She says walking over to a spot. She swings her backpack over and she takes out the tent.
"Percy, you put it up." She instructs.
I stare at her incredulously. "Um, Annabeth, are you okay? You saw me try to put it up yesterday." I say.
Annabeth starts to laugh. "I'm kidding. You take watch while I put it up." She says kissing my cheek. She turns around and starts to work, and I just stand there awkwardly.
I squint my eyes and I see a two shadows in the trees. I grip Riptide, ready to uncap it if necessary. Suddenly the two shadows disappear and they are standing right in front of me a few feet away, smirking. It's Ruby and Santiago, the Hades tributes, who obviously just used shadow travel.
I uncap Riptide and it expands into a glowing celestial bronze sword.
Annabeth comes up next to me gripping her knife in hand.
"What do you want?" Annabeth asks.
Ruby laughs darkly. "We want food and supplies. Give them to us, and you live."
Annabeth and I meet eyes. Then, we both start laughing.
Ruby's eyes narrow and Santiago snarls. "What are you laughing at?" He asks.
"You think you could beat us." I say, between laughs.
"We can. We're children of one of the big three." Ruby threatens.
"Prove it." Annabeth says smirking.
Ruby brings up her dagger and Santiago brings up his spear.
Annabeth dashes in and out and Ruby falls, unconscious.
I sweep Santiago's legs from under him, knocking him on the head with the flat of my sword. He too falls unconscious.
"Lets go." I say, ready to pack everything up.
"What are you talking about? We have to kill them!" Annabeth argues
"I can't kill innocent half bloods." I say gently.
"Listen, I want to get out of this alive, with you. In order to win this, we have to kill them." Annabeth points out.
"I know, but I don't want their blood on my hands." I mumble.
"Fine. I'll do it." She retorts. She turn, and before I can say anything, she stabs Ruby in her chest. A cannon goes off and I flinch
"Annabeth!" I yell. Annabeth stops, her knife inches away from Santiago's face.
I pull her away into my arms as she cries into my chest.
"I just want to get out of this alive with you." She sobs.
"I know Wise-Girl." I murmur into her ear. "We got out of Tartarus alive. We can make it through this without a problem."
"I hope so." Annabeth cries.
"Do we kill him?" I ask.
"We need to. We killed his sister, and in his grief, he will be after us." Annabeth whispers.
"Who kills him?" I ask.
"I'll do it." Annabeth says wiping tears from her eyes. She picks up her knife and plunges it in Santiago, closing her eyes. A loud cannon goes off.
She winces and comes back to me. We pack everything up and we are ready to find a new place to camp.
Before we start walking, I pull her in for a hug and I kiss her.
"I love you Wise Girl." I murmur.
"You too Seaweed Brain." She says.
Then off we go, hand in hand.
