After talking with Chiron, Nathan ran into the head counsiler of Hermes. Appearantly, Elizabeth was eavesdropping and told him to pick him up and take Nathan to the forges where he could get a weapon. Considering there was nothing better to do, and Nathan wasn't in a position of choosing, he agreed.

The forges were appearantly connected to the cabin of Hephaestus, or at least underground. Walking in, Nathan noticed the humidity increase by ten degrees celcius. He scanned the area and noticed most of the bunk beds were electirically charged and rotational allowing everyone to sleep on the top bunk.

After a few minutes this tall guy with muscular arms and messy black hair with brown eyes appeared. He sported a sleeveless tee and a pair of army cargos along with combats. He held a cocky smile as he raced his way toward them.

"Welcome to the forges." He sighed. "I'm Mason, the head counsiler of Hephaestus and chief of the forges, can I help you two?" He asked with a positive light.

"I'm Charles, counsiler of Hermes, was just assigned today." The son of Hermes repliee. He had dirty blonde hair peircing blue eyes and a similar body shape as Mason did. "Nathan here needs a weapon, what do ya recommend?" He asked.

"Nathan ya good with swords?" Mason asked.
Nathan shook his head, sadly realizing he's never had to use a weapon. "I've used to be good at baseball, but I've never held a sword."

"I see." Mason nodded. "Follow me, we're going underground."
Mason was right, they were going underground, every inch they traveled Nathan's body grew stronger, almost like he needed to be underground. He felt his dream resurfacing as he recalled every obsticale in the dream.

When Mason stopped, Nathan bumped into him, realizing he was there. Opening the double sealed doorway, a wprkshop opened up underneath their feets. To the right were parked benches and plenty of teens working on crafting swords and spears.

"Alright, so choose your poison." Mason announced.
Wondering what that meant, Nathan glanced at him unnerved. Grasping his shoulder, Mason laughed. "I was kidding, it's a figure of speech, laugh a little why don't cha." He said easily guiding him towards a case of three metalic swords.

"Pick a type of metal." Mason announced. "We have, silver, celestial bronze and my personal favorite imperial gold." He nodded. "Keep in mind that silver is just about the weakest type of metal to kill monsters with, but it helps against the lycanthropes. If you ever meet them, it would be useful."

"What gives you a better handle?" Nathan asked. "From just looking at all three of these, they're easily disposible of." He siad. "Silver isn't effective at all against monsters that don't have lupine blood, celestial bronze only works on monsters right? And Imperial gold isn't the best quality when it comes to durability."

"Actually Imperial gold is good with durability, you could find old weapons and still be capable of using them in battle. But these are the only types of metals we've got so, you'll have this or nothing."

"No worries." Nathan replied. "I'll get my own sword, besides. I'm starting to realize who's my father. Hopefully he's nicer than others very similar to him."

Walking away, Nathan sighed. Behind him Mason and Charles exchanged words.
"He's a little rough around the edges." Mason murmured.
"Yea, but I kinda like him, he's refreshing from those other destined demigods." Charles replied.
"Maybe, but still, he could learn to be nicer in his words."

After making it out of the volcano cabin, Nathan stared across the courtyard to see the metal he was drawn to. Walking towards it, he bumped into something. At first, he couldn't see her, but when he did, he blushed. Quickly, she graspped onto his arm and cried out cheerful cheer.

"Nate! I'm so glad to see you." She tugged on tightly, as he escorted her towards the cabin of Hades. "You know, I have been dying to meet you again. I really like you Nate. Your cute, and fun to talk to. And when I see you, my heart does summer salts. How about you?"

He blushed nodded a bit awkwarded out, that by now she had becomed accustomed to talking to him. "Hey, why are we walking towards the cabin of death?"

"I need something from here, just promise me, you won't tell anyone what I'm about to do." He muttered. "It,s a type of metal, I know it."

When they reached the cabin, Nathan began to search around for a sign of the black ore-like metal. Talia silently gazed at me nervously keeping her eyes on the door every time noise spread closer. After a few minutes Nathan found a black sword about four feet long and easily whielded about.

"This is it." He replied. "This is the type of sword I want and need."
"A stygian iron sword?" Talia replied. "I thought only children of Hades could use those. Does that mean?"

"No, not that, I'm not deaths child, he's more like a nephew or cousin. I can feel it, but I'm more powerful than I appear. I know that." Nathan replied.

"Aleight, then let's just hope your claimed after tonight's bonfire. I wish you the best." At that seconds, she did the most unexpected thing and kissed him. A real kiss on the lips. It was way better than anything he'd ever dream about.

Taking a deep breath, he controlled himself. "Why did you do that."
With a faint smile, she nodded. "I think you know. Like I said before, I don't care about the saytrs anymore, I like you best. You're my special friend."

In a whirl of winds, she vanished leaving me alone in the cabin of Hades.
