The bonfire was nothing like Nathan expected. He was thinking it would be a group of people sitting on the ground roasting marshmellows and singing old campfire songs. But instead, he ended up walking into an ampitheater that could fit an entire college student body.

Glancing around he noticed everyone had divided themselves into sections. In the front right was the hephaestus cabin, to the top left was the aphrodite cabin and when you looked across you could see the others assorted amongst themselves.

Nathan decided his best bet was to sit in the front. He didn't have much of an ear to listen from the back, but aside from that, he held a feeling in his gut that today he was gonna be called out.

After everyone sat down, the flames burned a bright orange color. Gazing intently, Nathan could've sworn he saw a twelve year old girl sitting within arms reach of the harth. She had light brown eyes and a chop of precious brown hair also with an old maiden outfit that resembled much of a holloween dress. It held oranges and reds and tons of other crazy colors that held the intense blare of holloween.

Grabbing everyone's attention Chiron slapped his hoof on the ground. Amazed, Nathan gawked at him as he saw the old camp director gallop across the open stage fire area. He was half horse! Nathan thought to himself amazed.

Thinking back, he tried to remember of a creature like that. Glancing around he couldn't help but match eyes with Elizabeth. "Centuar." She mouthed silently.

Nodding, he smiled carefully refocusing his attention. Chiron slapped his hoof once more causing everyone to listen quietly.

"Thankyou." He nodded. "I'm glad that you are all well and alive. As many of you may have already noticed. We have a few new additions to our routine here. For one we have a new counsiler for Hermes, our camp has grown exponentially in the passed week, as our number of demigods found increases and not to mention we have our new age hero to recognize soon." Chiron paused, glancing in Nathan's direction. He didn't know if it was a compliment or an insult, but one thing was certain, Nathan didn't like the attention.

"But enough about the problems, we have a new camper as I was saying." Chiron rose his hand gesturing for Nathan to take a stand and move on forward. "Nathan, if you'd please."

Calmly rising up, Nathan slowly skulked down the edged out steps as he made his was down to the center stage he turned ane faced the entire camp.

"Nathan, could you sense a connection to a Greek god that might be your godly parent?" Chrion said boldly. His eyes held certainty, and he held a posture that said he knew who it was either way.

"Yes." I replied half-heartedly. "I have an idea, but before that, I'd like to show you this." Pulling out a black bladed sword, he smiled. Nathan wasn't certain why, but the dream told him more than just a message. It told him about his father. "What would you discribe the demigod that use this."

"His name was Nico." Chiron said saddened. "Nico di Angelo." In a sudden instant, the flames died out to a more sad and gloomy color as if the person brought back sad memories. "He was a child of Hades, the god of the underworld."

"Appearantly, only children of hades can use this type of metal." Nathan glanced at the crowd. "That is not true. I'm not a child of the death god. I'm a child of an entity. He is very similar to Hades, in the fact that he is nothing like him." Cunningly, Nathan smiled appluading everyone to crack up a bit. He knew that he wasn't very sarcastic or funny so getting in a few laughs was a well earned challenge.

"So, do you know who it is that your father could be?" Chiron asked again this time more patiently.

"I'm the son of Tartarus, the concentration of depth, the abyss." Nathan replied. At that moment everyone sat silent in awe and speechless.

With a faint smile, Chiron stood ready to reply.
