Percabeth Drabble
Merry Christmas
PERCY POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I made a pot of coffee, knowing it was Christmas. I managed to get up before Annabeth's and my daughter, Anthea.
Anyway, I poured my mug of coffee and added cream. Men say they drink black, but real men admit to cream.
As if on cue, halfway through my coffee my daughter burst into the living room of our house, barely touching the stairs. She flew to the couch, her long curly black hair a mess, and her grey eyes full of excitement.
"Merry Christmas!" She practically screamed. I laughed and walked to her. I set me mug down and gave her a hug.
"Merry Christmas." I smiled. For being fifteen, she acted like she was seven.
"I'm gonna wake up Mom." She said, after a second of silence.
"Oh, you already did." Annabeth chuckled and poured some coffee. I shook my head, smiling. She was gorgeous even at 5 a.m. and woken up in the middle of sleep. She kissed my cheek for a 'Good Morning', which sufficed.
"Merry Christmas, Wise Girl." I kissed her, quickly.
"Merry Christmas, Seaweed Brain." She sat down.
"Morning." I heard our other daughter, Persis come down the stairs and collapse on the couch. She was thirteen, and always sleeping. She had messy, long blonde hair in a bun. She had green eyes like me.
"Well? Presents!" Anthea shook her. Persis groaned and got up, grabbing a box for me and sitting down by my feet. She handed me the box and Anthea handed her a gift.
Presents were opened and the girls were getting ready to go to Hazel and Frank's party.
"I love you."
"I love you too." Annabeth smiled. I kissed her, and we all know how we spent the next half hour.
