Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief Ash's way.
Chapter 2
When the Athena cabin finally came into view Annabeth was sitting on a chair reading what looked to be a book on architecture written in ancient Greek.
I walked up to her, yet she didn't seem to notice me even when I was about a foot away so I tapped her on her shoulder.
She looked up.
"Yes?" she asked with a slightly annoyed expression on her face.
"Okay Ash word it better." I told myself mentally.
"I have to leave camp for awhile." I said.
She raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
"Chiron has asked me to keep a lookout on a demigod for about a year and since the school is completely year-round so I won't be able to leave." I said.
If this disturbed her in anyway the only way she showed it was by raising her eyebrow even higher.
"Aren't satyrs supposed to do that?"
"Yes, if this were a normal case," I began,"However Chiron says this isn't a normal case."
After I said this her eyes widened and she looked like she was resisting a gasp, yet I didn't decide to question it.
After her features regained composure I began to talk again.
"I guess I'll see you later?"
She smiled,"Of course you will, it's not like your leaving forever."
"Thanks for understanding, Annabeth."
"No problem," she said,"who am I to question Chiron's judgement?"
I smiled and extended a hand which Annabeth gladly shook."Until then?"
She nodded, "Until then."
As I walked to the archery cabin where I knew Briana would be, I somehow knew she wouldn't share the same feelings that Annabeth and Luke had for my journey.
