Starting Over

"Percy! Leo! Fiona! What are you doing!?"

Tyler was running and yelling at us. It was December and we were working on a snow man. Well, sort of. The snow man was eight feet tall and I was sitting on it's head. Percy was controlling the snow and Leo was tinkering with some water proof machine-things. Annabeth was right behind him. Uh-oh. We weren't ready. I had to think fast or the big surprise would be ruined.

"No sneak peaks guys!" I yelled down. Annabeth began to snap.

"Seaweed brain, I know you like the snow, but this is not funny. Get her down before she gets hurt. And Leo, I don't know what you're doing but stop it!"

"You cant stop the heat!"

"Your mama can't stop the heat!" I sung along.

"Don't even!" Tyler stopped our rhythm. Leo retaliated.

"Your brother can't stop the beat!"

After a few groans Annabeth walked away with her hands up in the air. Once she was out of hearing range everyone broke out laughing. I continued to pat the Snow man's head waiting for Leo to give me the last piece that was needed. I was super excited for us to be finished. Percy finally stopped laughing long enough to ask Tyler what had happened.

"Dude, you were suppose to distract her."

"When you said you were building a snow man, you should of mentioned it would of been eight feet tall and you were going to put a little girl on top! Annabeth flipped out when she saw it."

"I got it!" Leo said. He climbed the stairs Percy made so I could get up and down with ease. He placed the weirdest thing I have ever seen on top of the head, causing it to sink inside. After I could here a clink, I smoothed the small head over with some of the snow. Leo was mumbling something about only having a few minuets. We walked down the stairs and Tyler placed me on his shoulders. Sunny came up behind him and barked. Percy got rid of the stairs and looked more nervous than ever. Grover ran up to him and nearly knocked him into the snowman.

"Sorry Percy, but Annabeth is going on a rant."

"Perfect. Is she at the Big House?"

"Yeah, she's trying to get Chiron to do something and I don't think he can stall her for much longer."

Percy was shaking a little bit and let out a nervous sigh. "Lets do this." I jumped down from Tyler's shoulder's and jumped up and down.

Everyone except Tyler and Percy walked down to the Big House. There was three inches of snow on the ground and it was hard to resist the urge to make a snow ball and hurl it at someone. I was my thoughts were stopped when saw Annabeth snapping at Chiron. She looked like she was not to happy. I giggled as Annabeth turned and realized we where standing there. Chiron gave us a wink as he trotted down the steps and stood next to Annabeth. It was finally time.

"'Annabeth, this girl doesn't seem to be on an eight foot snow man."

"It was fun!" I exclaimed as sweetly as I could. That seemed to only make Annabeth more upset.

"Seriously? You guys? What is going on?"

Grover clapped his hooves, Leo fiddled with his hair and I was just swinging back and forth. Finally, I herd Tyler's voice. He was singing Nothing on You by B.O.B. Then the "snow man" waddled down the hill. As soon as the snow man was ten feet from us it began to melt. It was sort of sad to see our hard work melt, but it would be worth it. Inside the snow man was a ice heart sculpture. It had "As long as we're together" on it, whatever that means. Percy came out from behind the sculpture and took Annabeth's hand and pulled her towards it. They were standing if front and Percy got on one knee. He pulled out a box and opened it. It had a silver ring with a diamond in the center. Aw.

"Wanna be my wife wise girl?" She was crying a little.

"Yes seaweed brain, any more stupid questions?"

He put the ring on her finger and they kissed for a while, then Tyler covered my eyes for about two minuets. When he removed them Chiron congratulated them and they walked off. Tyler looked down at be and smiled.

"Tyler."

"Yes?"

"I'm glad we started over."

"Yeah, starting over isn't so bad sometimes. Isn't it?"
