Nico

Nico chucked his things in a bag after a bad night of sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about the prophecy- "And on his return the battle for camp will be fought." He feared he knew what battle that would be. Maybe his dad had shown him Camp Jupiter for that very reason. He decided not to dwell on thoughts like that. He had learnt that fighting a prophecy was useless.

He tugged on his black aviator jacket and headed out of his cabin to Thalia's tree where Kat and Delia were already waiting for him.
Kat was dressed identically to her sister, in jeans and an orange camp shirt under a black jacket. Their hair was done differently though, that's the only way he could tell them apart. It looked as if the Aphrodite campers had attacked them with beauty products. Kats hair was curled around her face and sparkled with glitter- pretty but not very practical for a quest. Whereas her sister had her straight hair plaited down her back. They both wore lip gloss and sparkly eye shadow which was very off putting as they watched him come up the hill.

"You're late!" Kat growled. Nico found her aggression quite cute, especially with that British accent of hers.

"Only by like- two minutes!" He protested, laughing.

"Oh so you think this quest is a joke?" Kat asked.

"You should really meet Thalia, you two would get along great!"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kat growled.

"Woah guys, calm down! Just get on the horses and we'll leave!" Delia interupted, gesturing towards the waiting pegasi.

Nico and Kat grumbled but did as she said.
"So where are we even going?" Kat asked.

"The woods in the sky," Delia answered, "Chiron told me that they're on Olympus, so I guess we go there first. He says we can take our time but we should be back at least before June."

Nico did some quick calculations in his head, "June? That gives us three months. Why would our quest take that long?"

Delia shook her head, "Chiron said time travels differently in the forest. A week can seem like a day."

"Well then we better get going." Kat said, "To Olympus!" Her pegusus left the ground and the others kicked to catch up.

Nico pulled up beside Kat, her face was blanched white.

"Heights?" He asked. She nodded meekly.
"It's ok," he assured her, "We won't let you fall." She nodded but she didn't look to convinced.
The three flew over the landscape, heading for the silver cloud above the Empire State Building.

It's a short chapter but it said a lot of things I needed to say.

I don't think I'll get much more done today cos I've got a friend coming over in an attempt to revive my social life. It's hard when you live in the middle of no where and all your friends are away on holiday but enough complaining my life (haha what life?)
