Kat

It was bad enough being forced to go on a mission looking like she'd just been glitter-bombed, but having to fly and almost fainting in front of Nico? Kat was ready to die of embarrassment.

They reached Olympus in good time. But as far as Kat was concerned it still took far too long! They dismounted as their pegasi headed back to camp and stared at the entrance to Olympus which was closed. Just their luck!

"And what do you think you're doing?" A young man appeared in front of them. He looked like a bike messenger or something. He had messy hair and obviously didn't care that he was very good looking. Kat hated him instantly. She coould tell that the poo wasn't going to let them in. Poo? Wow she really was spending too much time around her twin. She loved her sister but sometimes she was a little to gentle and she never ever swore.

"Going to The Forest of the Gods." Kat retorted. "Why should you care?"

The man sighed. "Young lady, I don't want this any more than you do but you can't come in this way. Olympus is closed."

"What do you mean 'This way'? Is there another way in?" Delia asked. Moments like that were why Kat loved her sister. She would never have picked up on the god's careful phrasing.

The god nodded "I shouldn't tell you this but there's an entrance about two days walk around the edge. The entrance isn't supposed to exist but you can enter through it and no one can stop you. It starts as a tunnel and ends up near the forest."

"Thanks Hermes." Nico said

Hermes? Well that explained the messenger gettup.

"Whatever," The god shrugged it off. "See ya kids around." Kat averted his eyes as the god turned to pure energy and disappeared.

"Oh my gods, that was productive." Delia sighed

"Two days of walking?" Kat asked. "Around the edge?"

"We're not about to let you fall!" Nico said. Man that boy got on her nerves. She forgave him cos of his cuteness though.

"Well I guess we better get walking, the pagasi aren't coming back anytime soon." Delia pointed out.

They nodded and began trudging their way around the side of the mountain.

Notes

A short one but at least it's actually plot this time.
Off topic but I think my friend's asleep under my bed. (She was under it cos she wanted to use her phone while it was charging) sometimes I wonder about her....
She's also been having weird dreams like she dreamed her cousin had a car crash and she woke up to find he had had a car crash while she was asleep. D: I'm getting her to read Percy Jackson cos I'm convinced she's like Rachel (she knows both of her parents) unless she's like Delia.....
