Kat

Kat woke up with the dawn, her hair in absolute disarray and only cold baked beans for breakfast. Kat felt great!

She felt like she was doing something with her life. Not just sitting in a classroom learning numbers or repeating steps over and over in a studio. She was out in the real world searching for her dad. She wanted to pummel him for ditching her to such a hard life without caring what happened to her. Great motivation.

She saw the track and groaned. She hated walking! Yes she was fit and able to walk for a long time. But that didn't mean she had to enjoy it!!!

They set out, Kat beside Delia with Nico trailing awkwardly behind them.

They set up for a lunch of bread and cheese when they heard a rustling in the bushes. Nico went out to investigate, sword drawn. He didn't come back.

She exchanged a look with Lia. As much as Nico annoyed her they needed three for the quest. They followed his path, sword drawn. They came across a cave.

"What's that?" Delia asked Kat, pointing into the cave, scared.

Kat didn't know but whatever it was, it had Nico, unconscious in it's grasp.
