The Lost Daughter

I'm on a Boat with a Lunatic!

"Let go of me!" Felicia yelled for the 20th time. I'd been keeping track. Keevan, the supposed good guy, was dragging us to the San Fancisco bay. We were standing right under the Golden Gate Bridge. Ms. Williams was holding my arms behind my back. But she didn't need too, since they were already bound with thick rope. Keevan was having trouble with Felicia. "You're quite a fighter, eh? Do you ever give up? Or hold still?" Keevan asked. I stifled a laugh.

"Bad news for you. I don't do either of those." Felicia mumbled, fighting the ropes. "Geez, wouldn't Ares love you as a daughter." Keevan said. Ms. Williams slapped him on the back of the head. "Shut up! She doesn't know yet!" Ms. Williams hissed. With her free hand, she pulled out a walkie-talkie. I noticed she had loosened her grip on me. I suddenly had this crazy idea. I knew it would never work, but I at least had to try. It was like Felicia read my mind. "So, Luke's just gonna drive his boat up to the bay. Wow, casual." She was distracting him.

"Well yeah. We didn't want to row you out to the middle if the ocean to get to the boat. Especially with her." Keevan whispered. I didn't know what that meant, or who Luke was. But I was pretty sure I didn't want to meet him. So taking the opportunity, I pulled my wrists from Margaret's grasp. She yelped and made a wild grab for me. She tripped and fell. Keevan tried to run after me, but tripped over Margaret. Idiots. I laughed as I ran up the beach. Felicia was close behind me, our wrists still bound. But as long as we get away...

Then I noticed the biggest boat in the bay. It has the words Princess Adromeda painted on the side. Then that worried feeling came back. That was Luke's ship. Then I ran right into someone. Really hard. "Oh geez, I'm so sorry!" I apologized. Then I looked at person. Felicia gasped, "It's you." She sounded like she wanted to strangle him and hug him at the same time. I immediately knew who it was. Luke.

"What do you think you're doing?" He asked. I just stared at him. Felicia narrowed her eyes, "What do you want, Luke?" "Well it doesn't concern you, for one thing. I told these idiots to only get the girl, not her annoying friend too." Luke replied. Felicia huffed, "You know, we used to be real close. Until you got into all of this." Luke smiled, "I like this version if me much better." "Nobody else does." Felicia muttered.

Soon Luke and his goons dragged us aboard the boat. We were taken to the steering house. "Now I'm going to ask and explain some things. My name's Luke Castellan. Don't forget it." Luke said. "I'll make a mental note." I answered. "Good. And I don't think you understand things fully. Who was your mother?" He asked. "Subtle much?" Felicia mumbled. Luke glared at her.

"Listen, Luke, before you start asking me things, answer this for me. What are you up too?" I said. "Wouldn't you like to know? Take them below." Luke ordered. Keevan and Margaret took hold of us, pushing us along. "What's your name?" Luke asked before we left. I narrowed my eyes and smirked. "Well, wouldn't you like to know?" I said, mimicking him. Then I was pushed out the door, followed by a snicker from Felicia.
