The Lost Daughter

Percy's Dream

I was in the ocean. It seemed like I was just standing on the calm water. It was a bit foggy, and the sun had jut gone down. This was a very vivid dream, as if I was there. I felt the humidity, the ocean breeze. I tried to move, but couldn't. Then I saw it. Luke's boat was in the distance. It seemed bigger than before. It came closer, so close that it loomed above me.

How could that be? Didn't we defeat Luke? Didn't Polyphemus eat him for dinner? But, then again, Luke was harder to kill than a zombie cockroach. I heard his evil laugh come from the deck. "Percy! Percy, is that you?" A voice called. At first it sounded like Annabeth, but then it kept changing. Finally, it sounded like a young girl.

"Help us! Luke's crazy!" Another girl shouted. I believed what she said. He was crazy, and stupid. Then two girls appeared at the front of the boat. I guess the voices belonged to them. One had dirty-blonde hair, white skin and greenish eyes. A nasty scar covered her right eye. She kind of reminded me of Luke. But I had seen her before. I recognized her as a camper. I didn't know her too well. What was her name? Felicia? Yeah, Felicia, that was her name. Didn't know her last name, though.

The other girl also looked familiar. She wasn't a camper, but her face reminded me if someone. She had long, dark, wavy hair and white skin. She had sea-green eyes just like me. A dash of freckles completed her face. That's when it hit me. She looked like my mom!

Luke came up behind them, a smirk in his face. His hair looked a little different. But his scar was still there, almost identical to Felicia's, but on his left eye. When they stood side by side, I noticed how similar they looked. They both had Hermes' looks, but blondish hair. That was interesting...

"Come and get me, Jackson!" Luke called. Anger rushed through my body. I tried to answer, but words wouldn't form. Both girls looked worried and tired. "Please hurry, Percy." The dark-haired girl said. Luke put his hands on their shoulders and led them away. I looked around, trying to figure out where they were.

For some reason, I felt like I knew the dark-haired girl. I felt like I needed to save them. All of a sudden, the boat lurched forward and sped through the mist, toward a island. A pink building stood on the beach. It looked like some kind of resort. Evil laughing poured out of the windows. Then screaming. Then... shaking?
