Delia

They told no one that Percy and Annabeth were in Tartarus, they didn't need more to worry about. They spent their days training hard already.

As a reward, they were still allowed the 4th July fireworks for independence day. Neither Lia or Kat were American but they joined their friends at the beach anyway, they needed a break.
Delia sat beside her sister, wishing Leo could be there with her. She would force him to come with her next year, no matter what dangerous quest he was on!
She heard from him every day. He had told her that they'd finally figured out a way to cross the mountains yesterday... or was it today? Timezones made it difficult to message each other but neither of them was getting much sleep which made it a bit easier. Normally they'd take turns calling each other during the night or being called during the day.
She watched Hercules defeat the Nemean Lion and it exploded in sparks. Leo had helped program these fireworks before he left. Hercules did all eleven of his tasks before exploding himself. Then she saw something different in the sky, the fireworks spelt out; 'I miss you Lia' in pink letters. Everyone turned to look at her and she flushed.
Leo might not be here in person, but he still made sure his presence was noticed.

He messaged her the next day from the Argo stables.
"Hey, beautiful. Did you get my message?" He asked cheekily.
"Yes!" She replied. "You really didn't have to you know!"
"Oh but I wanted to." He chuckled.
Delia sighed, he was hopeless. "Why are you in the stables anyway?" She asked him.
"I'm sure there's a button on the Parthenos that unleashes death on our enemies, I just have to find it!" He explained, honestly looking a bit mad.
"Leo, it's a statue." She told him. "That's it."
"There has to be something else to it!" He said.
"I don't think there is." She said softly. "You can try if you want but there's nothing there."
"You wanna bet?" He asked cheekily.
"Fine." She replied. "Cos I know I'm right! What do you want to bet?"
He grinned, "If I win, you have to pretend you're Kat and flirt with Nico."
"Really?" She asked boredly, "That's the best you got? Fine. If I'm right you have to go up to Kat and act like you think she's me." Delia grinned.
"It's a bet then!" He said. "Now shoo! I wanna prove you wrong."
Delia laughed. "But the longer I stay, the less time you have to do it."
"Fine. Stay if you want." He told her. "You can watch me work."
He jumped around the statue looking for a secret button.
Delia began to sing softly.

Delia faded off, seeing Leo asleep in the stables. She smiled, savoring one last glance at him before heading back to combat practice.
