Nico



We have been driving alone for gods knows how long, to sum it up, we are lost. The driver made another U-turn, taking us in a circle again, it was 6:30, and we all are annoyed. She made a left turned into a private beach, we all sighed and she stopped.
“Miss, I think we can walk from here” I said, getting out of the car, Sarah doing the same on the other side. The young driver tried to stop us, but we just started getting “our stuff” out of the trunk, Sarah knocked on the door, yelling at Julia to get out. The young girl, finally got out of the car, she was beautiful, her skin was a golden, she literally glimmered in the sun, her hair fell perfectly around her face. She wore typical hawaiian clothing, a golden sun dress. I stood staring at the girl, Sarah finally turned around and saw the girl, Sarah started to smoke.
“Come on Nico, lets go. JULIA GET OUT OF THE CAR!” she yelled, Julia looked out the back window, then went to get out of the car, but started at the driver. Sarah grabbed me, and started to pull me away, when the driver started singing. Her voice sounded, like majestic music, sounds not even possible to make with your mouth. Sarah and I melted into her words and stood watching her.



Julia

oh no, no no no no. Not good. As the human torch and the grim reaper started to drift off to their own worlds, the driver started to walk towards them. I quickly went into my backpack and dug through all the stuff we “borrowed” from the clothing stands, we left some money don’t worry. come on come on, yes! I pulled out a pair of swimming ear plugs, and stuck them into my ears, one got stuck in my ear piercings. I quickly went to get out of the car, as I went to open the door, the driver did and guided Sarah and Nico, still singing. They both climbed over me and sat on the seat sideways and on top of each other. The driver started at me, I swallowed, oh right. I pretended to sway to her voice, probably not in rhythm at all. She smiled and shut the door, what kind of monster was she? She got back in the car, still singing, and started to drive away, I quickly started going through our stuff, looking for more ear plugs, but there weren’t anymore, I looked for anything, I finally found my fake flower bracelets and teared them up, as I did the car jerked around and we were lifted into the air and started to soar away. Uh oh, I looked out the window, there were two more of the girls, they looked exactly the same, besides having huge wings. I froze, I know what they are. I stuffed the fake flowers into Sarah’s ears, as best as I could. She snapped back and looked around, I quickly stuffed the rest of the bracelets into Nico’s ears. He came back and looked around, they both turned to me. I grabbed a pamphlet and a pen from our bag and scribbled on the back,
“ Celedon:
Made of gold
super strong
sing like Sirens
can fly
conducted heat
made by Hephaestus
basically, we are screwed.”
Sarah and Nico glanced at each other, I hate taxi drivers.
