The Two That Went Missing

We grouped up in the middle of the street, before anyone could say anything, a bright glow rose up. I turned and saw it was coming from the closest house, Two torches were lit outside it. One a red flame and one a blue.
" Hephaestus ..." I whispered,
I started walking to the house.
" Sarah ..." Nico started to say something but I couldn't hear him, I zoned out, I couldn't hear anything, my curiosity of the house drowned out all noise. The gate of the house was flanked but two bronze statues of donkeys ... his sacred animal.
When I was within a foot of the gate it swung open, I walked up the stairs and to the door.

Above the door what a emblem of a hammer, I took a deep breath placed my hand of the knob and opened the door. The house was pitch black, but I stepped in anyway.
Behind me the door slammed, leaving Julia and Nico banging on the door. The room lit up.
I was in a workshop, There were bench saws, metal lathes and tool cages. On one wall was a large forge.
I heard heavy footsteps behind me, on instinct, I turned and shot a ball of fire.
I watched as the large man in front of me let the ball of fire hit his face, and him brush it off like mosquito
"Holy Mothe-"
"Ugh! Your brother said the same thing! I don't understand! Do I look like a woman to you girl?!"
"No, no, I, you, your-"
"Hephaestus, your father, yes."
" Then Leo... it's true, he really is my brother. Like my brother brother?"
Hephaestus nodded and gestured for me to step closer to him. I did and he placed a big beefy finger on my forehead. A rush of memories came back to me, well not back, they were from when I was too young to remember. That is without the help of a god. When he pulled away, I stumbled back into a table. Hephaestus or my dad sat down on a stool. I felt my eyes get watery but I pushed it back. I opened my mouth to speak but my father spoke first,
" I know you have plenty of questions, but we can only speak for so long and there are important things you need to be told." I nodded and he continued
"Alright first your enemy-"
"Er-"
"HUSH GIRL. Names are powerful things. His above many, you should not speak." I nodded. "He is powerful and dangerous and you need to be careful in your battles against him, second your dragon-"
" Drakon?! do you know where he is?"
He sighed
" I do, but I cannot tell you. The fates forbid it, he is alright for now. Sarah, I know how important Drakon is to you but right now he is not the issue currently. You have worse things to worry about, We have little time left, so finally everything you need, that I can give you will be in the garage." The house rumbled, My father grumbled.
"You must leave now." He ushered me to the door. I faced him and he grabbed my shoulders.
"Be careful my daughter and remember the key to protecting yourself is the center."
Before I could say anything, he opened the door and threw me out. Like, literally threw me into Nico, who stood right outside the door. We tumbled down the stairs and rammed into the gate. I landed on top of Nico and he let out a group of pain because of his rib or maybe ribs now. I got up quickly, helped him up and apologized.
" Its fine." He said through gritted teeth.
"What the hell happened? " Julia asked.
I ran up the stairs and opened the door, it was a normal house, no tools, no forge, no Hephaestus. I closed the door and I noticed that above it, the emblem was gone I turned around and saw no torches and no donkeys.
" its gone." I said
" whats gone?" Nico asked
" The torches, the donkeys ..." Julia sighed,
" Did you hit your head again?" I turned and saw the garage of the house partly open. I smiled and laughed. Nico and julia exchanged a look.
"Just come on"
I ran over to the garage and open it.
" OH HELL YES!" Julia screamed
" wow" Nico said.
Inside the garage was a blue convertible mustang, a wall of weapons, a wall of provisions including food, drinks, nectar and ambrosia, on the back table there were three piles of clothes.
I explained Hephaestus's visit, as we stocked up, and all have as much nectar and ambrosia possibly, without exploding. We changed into the clothes that were left for us. Now, evidently, Hephaestus isn't the best when it comes to fashion, but in my opinion he did pretty well.
I had on a regular white t-shirt on under grey overall shorts with brown worn boots. Under the pile of clothes was a big box. Inside was a pair of goggles they were brown and bronze a note on them read
'These might come in handy.'
There was also two rings, one was a blue dragon breath stone and one was a leather blue dragon eye. There was a dragon necklace and a charm bracelet that was bronze/gold and its charms were all different tools by instinct, I pulled one off and it grew into a full size hammer.
"Oh, dude, that's cool." Julia said
I looked at her and she was wearing a loose orange shirt and a grayish colored pants, and work boots. She had a necklace with a sun pendant and a bracelet that had a tiny cross bow on it. She tapped it and it expand into a full blown crossbow.
" This is sick, did your dad really give me this?" I picked up the box, the bracelet and the necklace were in and under the cover was a note. I handed it to her and she began to read it,
" Daughter of Apollo,
You have watched out for my daughter for a long time and I wish to repay you with these. If Apollo did not tell you, you and many others will be very important.

ps, how is that Nico boy, is he really good enough for my little rag doll?" I turned to Julia, eyes furrowed and grabbed the note, and quickly read it, Julia grinned
" I lied about that last part but I'm important! and I'm you're babysitter!" she hugged her scythe. I sighed, turned back to my box, the one that had the goggles and the charm bracelet, inside was the black metal belt, I first found in camp half blood, I must of lost it at sometime, when I have no idea. Slipped the belt on.
Nico is wearing a plain black shirt and black jeans, Nothing special. He stood in the corner of the garage, where there was little light. He turned and saw me looking at him. We made eye contact for a couple seconds and then I turned to Julia
"Come on, we should get going."
"SHOT GUN!" She yelled, jumping into the passenger seat, as I got in the front seat. Nico climbed in the back and says,
" Um, can you even drive ?" I replied
"Im a mechanic, and i've driven before, so yeah."
" So, you don't have a permit." I turned the keys and revived the engine. Turned back and smiled
"Exactly." Then I sped out of the garage.

Notes

Sarah and I are writing the final chapters Tuesday! (Well the Pandora stuff) So, you better start sweet talking us now, and will think about only killing a couple people. MWHAH I LOVE THIS POWER.
