Argo II's new crew mate
Jason's POV
When Nico said that something was falling towards the ship I immediately thought that we were getting attacked again. We have been attacked four times today and now we have to face another monster. When I flew up to it with my sword in hand I was just about to chop it up until I realized it was a girl. She looked about 15 with long silver hair and was wearing a black t-shirt with blue jeans and black boots. Her eyes were closed when I caught her and when she opened them they were also silver with black specks.
"Who-what?" she asked, it was obvious she didn't know what was going on which scared me a little. Who is she? I thought.
"It's alright, I got you." I don't think she understood what I meant because we were still falling pretty fast. I slowed us down and when we landed on Argo ll I put her down. She immediately feel on her butt and then everyone was surrounding her. When she got up Nico pulled his sword on her and she looked ready to pass out. When Hazel told Nico to put his sword away the girl seemed to relax a little.
"Who are you people?" she asked, she didn't sound as scared as she looked which I though was good considering that she almost died.
"We should be asking you the same thing," Leo said. The girl didn't seem to take that like an offence, more like she was wondering the same thing.
"My name is Nicole" she says.
When everybody introduced them selves Nicole asked were we are. When Leo answered her she seemed surprised by the answer, I'm not sure what she was expecting but it must of been something else. "Why are we here?"
"Saving the world and our friends from Gaea and her evil children" Leo says.
After that everybody went on to explaining what we are doing and who we are, I already know the process so I kind of zoned out while Piper and Nico did most of the explaining. Once they were done, we were all quiet while Nicole process what we told her. She started to look tired and sleepy which I thought was odd since she has been through a lot with the falling and the big news that we just dropped on her.
"Well I don't want to sound rude or anything but do you think I could spend the night here considering I don't know how i got here and have no way of getting back home; where ever it is?" Nicole asked. We all laughed with relief and satisfaction, nobody really wanted to deal with girl who thinks we are crazy lunatics and jump over board. Which I guess in a way we are since we have been through so much and enjoy every minute we have together that is not spent on killing monsters and giants.
When Piper lead Nicole down to the bunkers, the rest of us are all quiet.
"What do you think of her?" I asked.
"She seems nice but there is something about her that seems off," says Hazel. I agree with her but I can't put my finger on what it is.
"Well there is nothing we can do about it, we can drop her off in Greece or keep her with us until remembers where she is from then send her on her way." Nico says, he was looking towards the door that Nicole and Piper walked through.
"We should let her stay with us," I say. "I don't it would be fair if we just drop her off in the middle of know where, when all she knows is her name." Everybody agreed with that, then went back to their business.
The next day - Nicole's POV
When I woke up I was surrounded with blue prints. I didn't know where I was until I remembered I was on a boat filled with people who think they are half god. When I sat up I looked around the room I was in. There was a Yankee's cap on the bed side table and drawings of different kinds of buildings along the walls. There was a desk with sketches and rulers all around it and a garbage bin beside it filled with scrunched up paper. On the other side of the room beside the door was a wardrobe willed with orange shirts and blue skinny jeans. Not really my style but I don't think the person would mind if I borrowed their clothes for the day. When I got changed I walked into the hall way and heard laughter to my left. When I looked down I saw a door that open to a mess hall, every one was in there and eating breakfast. I started to head towards it until I heard a door close behind me. When I turned around there was a short man probably up to my waist and was caring a baseball bat. I would have thought he was someones dad if he didn't have goat legs. We stared at each for about half a second until he screamed "DIE!" at ran at me.
I screamed at the top of lungs and ran for the mess hall. When I got inside I was still screaming and slammed the door behind me. Everybody was eating when I ran and when I closed the door almost everyone had a sword and knife in their hand. The was banged open and the goat man was standing with the baseball bat raised over his head. "DIE CUPCAKE!" I screamed again and behind the table that was in the middle of the room. We were chasing each other around the table until Piper yelled "STOP!" We both stopped in mid run; Leo was on the floor laughing his head off and Nico had an amused smile on his face.
"Coach you can't kill her!" Piper said. The goat man seemed disappointed by that and lowed the bat.
"Why not? She is an intruder she deserves die!" I was staring at his legs which was hairy and had crumbs on them. He has little horns that stuck out of his hair. Leo was still laughing on the floor and had tears running down his face.
"She came aboard last night. She fell out of the sky and Jason saved her. Your not allowed to kill her, she is a half-blood." The goat man seemed to consider this then came over to me, I stepped back on he huffed.
"I'm not going to hurt cupcake, just checking you out to make sure your not a monster because I don't think these cupcakes can tell the difference." He took a step towards me and when I didn't back away he came closer. He sniffed me and gave a small grunt. "Well you are half-blood I must admit that. My name is Coach Hedge but just call me Coach everybody does that includes you." I gave a small nod. "What's your name?"
"Nicole"
"Got a last name?" I shrugged my shoulders; I still don't remember anything. "Valdez stop laughing!" Leo finally stopped and sat up in his chair.
"Sorry but you should have seen your guys faces they were hilarious!" Coach hedge walked over to Leo and hit him over the head with the baseball bat. "OW!" Leo rubbed his hand over his head where Coach hit him.
"What are you?" I ask because really I don't know.
Coached looked at me and says "I'm a satyr, didn't these cupcakes explain anything to you?" Jason stood up from his chair and said "We explained what our mission is, we didn't really get into the details of greek mythology thing being true and what not"
"and what not? who says that?" Leo asks. I was wondering the same thing until something exploded above deck. "Festus report!" Leo yelled, who is he talking to? Iwondered until a clicking sound came from the ceiling. "Festus said that we are being attacked by some metal thing" Leo told us. The ship talks? I don't know how that could happen but before I could think more into it another explosion came from above.
"Everybody prepare for battle!" Jason yells, he pulls out a gold coin and flips and it turns into a golden sword. I'm so amazed by what just happened that I didn't realize that everybody else had their own weapon and was running upstairs. I started to follow them until I realized that I had nothing to use to defend my self and help them out. I looked around and grabbed the closest thing i could find; a butter knife. Then I ran upstairs where the battle was being held.
