Hera's new twist

Hazel and Piper dragged me to every store in town, we decided that we should stop by a little café near the sea and ordered two coffee and one cappuccino.
"Are you having fun yet?" Hazel asked me, so far Hazel is the only one who bought the most clothes. She had four bags full of shirts and two bags full of pants, bra's, and hair products.
"Yeah, today was fun. Thanks guys for taking me shopping." They both smiled and today was actually fun but my dream from my nap still bothered me. If my dad knew where I was why would he lie to my mom? and if he knew that some goddess put me here then why doesn't he come and bring me home?
"Are you alright Nicole?" Piper asked.
"Um, yeah but I got a question; Who is the queen of the gods?" Hazel and Piper shared a look I didn't like.
"Her name is Hera, from our point of view she is bad news. Why did something happen?" I didn't like the sound of that, if this women is bad news than I'm in big trouble.
"I had a dream from when I had that nap and apparently she is the who put on the ship."
"Why does she keep doing that? Is that like her thing or something? To just pick up random demigods erase their memories and drop them off in some random place?" Piper seemed furious with goddess, they must have some bad chemistry or something.
"Can you tell us what happened in your dream?" Hazel asked. I told them everything except the part with my mom and dad. "So a god who wears sleeping moon pajamas is your dad?"
"I guess, and apparently he is lazy so I don't know what that means for me." Our drinks arrived with some cookies that Piper asked the waitress. The women seemed to be in daze when she brought the cookies but then she shook her head and she seemed to normal again.
"You are not lazy so don't worry about that but it does explain why your always so sleepy." When Hazel mentioned that I started to get sleepy again and I ended up yawning which made them yawn in return.
For the rest of the day we talked about random stuff like the guys on the boat and what shirt went with what skirt and so on and by the end of the day all three of us had our arms full of shopping bags. If Piper didn't use her charm speak with the shop owners we would be broke but we still had plenty of money left. I'm still not exactly sure how that works but I wish I had that power. When we got back to the ship Leo was working on something that looked like a staff of some sort. "What are you working on Leo??"
He looked up from his work and smiled, "it's a staff!" Well no duh. I figured that out a long time ago.
"Why are making one? We have a few down in the armoury." Piper put down her bags and walked over to Leo who was holding it out for us to see. It was long; about the same height as me but a few inches shorter (Nicole is 5'6) and the top had a sphere with twirling designs on it and the bottom had narrowed down and sharpened so it was a sword almost. The staff looked pretty cool and deadly, I wouldn't mind using that thing in battle.
"It's for Nicole, I thought since she like to lean on things because she is always so sleepy and likes to stab monsters that this would suit her." That was very nice of him to make me something and I couldn't wait to use but still I didn't understand why he would make it for me.
"But if there where other ones in the armoury then why did you make me this one?"
"This one was in the armoury but I took it out and made some few adjust meant so it would fit you better. Here check it out," Leo handed me the staff and I was surprised it was so light. I twirled it around and pretended I was fighting a monster. It worked and felt good; it was like it was part of me. There was a button on the top of the staff and when I pressed it, It shrank down to a smaller version of it and had a small loop so it was a pendant for a bracelet of necklace.
"Do you like it?" Leo still had a big smile on his face, and was hoping around clearly excited about the staff. "I added the little hoop so you can hook it to a chain so you can wear it. I also added a little something to sphere, if you twist to the left it will open a little container so you can store what ever you want in it. If you turn it to the right then the sphere can come off and use it as a bowling ball!" I'm not sure why I would use the sphere as a bowling ball but if Leo thinks it could be useful then what do I got to lose?
"How do I get it back to being a staff?"
"All you have to do is say is 'Leo rules'" I wasn't sure if he was joking, and I certainty wasn't going to say that.
"Are you serious?"
"Very" he was still smiling and had a mischievous glint in his eyes.
I sighed and told the pendent "Leo rules," It started to grow in my hands and when it reached its full height I smacked Leo in the head with it.
"OW! why did you do that?"
"Do I have to say every time?"
"No that was a test to see if it works." I rolled my eyes and handed him my staff back. Then I followed Piper and Hazel to the bunkers, when I got to my room I saw that there was a picture on the desk. I put the bags on the bed and went over the desk to check out the picture. It was a picture of a girl and guy; they are both wearing orange t-shirts that said camp half-blood, they are hugging each other in front of a blue two-story house. The girl had blond hair with a white streak in it and had stormy grey eyes. The guy had black hair with the same white streak as the girl and sea green eyes. They looked to be 18 or so and seemed to be a happy couple.
"That's Annabeth and Percy" someone said behind me. I turned around and Piper was standing in the door way, she had a sad look on her face when she saw the picture so I put it down.
"They are the ones who fell into Tartarus?" Piper nodded her head and sat on my bed.
"They are great fighters and really smart... Well Annabeth is smart I'm not sure the same goes for Percy but both are good at what they do. I hope you get to meet them, I'm sure they would like you if they could meet you." They really do seem like a good people, I look back at the picture and tell Piper, "What's camp half-blood?"
"Camp half-blood is for people like you and me, it's in long island. We have all kinds of activities there like; capture the flag, rock climbing, Pegasus riding, Archery, basket weaving, chariot races, and all other kind of camp stuff that you would do." This camp seems to get better and better by the minute, I wish I could go check it out but I'm stuck on this stupid boat. "Well I'll leave you to put your clothes away, do you have anymore questions or...?" I shook my head Piper got up to leave.
Then a thought popped in my head, I went to stop Piper, "Wait!" I grabbed her arm but just as I did that she well to the ground. "Piper?" I bent down beside her to make sure she was okay.
She was. Phew, I thought I killed her for a second. She seemed to be sleeping so I tried to wake her up but nothing happened. "Piper?" I tried shaking her but nothing happened, "Piper wake up!" nothing I tried seemed to be working. "Piper WAKE UP!" but still nothing, I was getting scared now, "Piper please WAKE UP!" She wouldn't wake up then Jason ran in, he must of heard me trying to wake Piper up.
"What happened?" He saw Piper on the floor and ran towards her. "What happened Nicole is Piper alright?" I started to cry at that point , this was getting to much.
"I don't know! I just touched her and she collapsed, I didn't mean to do it!" Jason was now trying to get Piper to wake up but it wasn't working for him either.
"Piper wake up! come on wake up!" I was still crying when everyone else ran in. They heard Jason yelling and came to see what was wrong. "I don't know! Nicole did something to Piper and now she wont wake up!" Everybody was looking at me now and I told them what happened.
"I didn't mean to I swear! I just wanted to ask her a question, I'm sorry!" I'm bawling at this point and Hazel came over to reassure me but I kept crying. Every one was trying to wake Piper up but she was lying there sleeping.
"Maybe Nicole has to wake her up," Leo said. Everybody looked at him and he continued "well if Nicole put Piper to sleep then she is the one to wake her up."
"But I tried thing worked!"
Jason sat up and walked over to me, "well make it work!" He was really mad, so I got up and moved over to wear Piper was lying. Jason had moved her to the bed so she could be more comfortable. I sat beside her and grabbed her hand, "Piper please WAKE UP!" nothing happened. I took a deep breath and tried again, "Piper wake up please!" still nothing. Then as someone shocked me I jumped up.
"Nicole what is it?" some one asked but I couldn't make out who it was. Everything was getting dark, "Nicole? NICOLE!"

Then all I saw was blackness.
