When I woke up I was laying down on a beach. Where am I? The sand was shining in the bright sun and the ocean was nice and calm. There was a city to my right and the beach ran down to what seemed like forever to my left. I got up and walked towards the city and when I got there, I saw that it was a ghost town. Not a soul in sight. As I walked down the streets I saw abandoned cars and everything was eerie quiet. All that I heard was my foot steps tapping in the street. The more deep into the city I got the more I felt alone, yet I felt like I was being watched. I looked around for monsters not sure what would happen if I got attacked and with that thought I started to look around for a weapon. Even though I have only been in one fight and I have no training what so ever, I felt confident and strong that I could win in a battle.
I found a metal rod in an alley and hooked it to my pants . I tried to remember what happened to me before; I remember touching Piper and she fell asleep, I tried to wake her up but nothing was working. Then Jason came into the room and started freaking out yelling at me to help her. Then everyone was in the room trying to get Piper to wake up, they told me to try one more time and… Nothing. I don't remember what happened next, did they knock me out and put me in some random city? No, I don't think that's what happened. I grabbed Pipers hand and told her to wake up but nothing happened, then I was surrounded by blackness. I must be dreaming then, okay so this is a dream. Am I in Pipers dream though or mine? Maybe I should just look around and see what I can find. I started to head down random streets, if this a dream then maybe I can make people appear. I started to think about random people that you see on T.V and in the streets. Then as if some one waved a wand people started to pop up. At least I'm not alone anymore, I started to head down streets again.
I was walking through a park when I heard a short yell. I thought I heard in my head when I heard another shout. It was coming through the trees to my left, I took off through a small trail and ended up in a clearing. I saw Piper fighting a women mad out of dirt and a another girl who looked to be around 17 or 18; she had black hair and was very pretty.
"Piper!" I yelled her name but she didn't seem to hear me I ran over to help her and took my metal rod and banged the girl on the head with it. I turned and saw Piper stab the earth women in the head with her bronze knife and the earth women crumbled the ground. Then the girl grabbed me by my hair and pulled me back, I screamed in anger and turned my body so that I would face her. I stabbed the metal rod in her stomach; it didn't go through but it was enough for her to let go of me and I took a step back and hit her in the head again. She fell to the ground unconscious and I took a deep breath and faced Piper again.
"Piper! I have been looking every where for you!" She looked at me funny and walked away. I don't know what's up with her and I tried to grab her again but she took off running. I followed her through the city until she finally stopped at what seemed like a library and took off through the stores. I was out of breath by the time I found her again, the building it turns out was a museum. It was a dinosaur museum there is a Tyrannosaurs Rex, the long neck dinosaurs, triceratops, and other dinosaurs that I didn't know the name of.
I saw Piper run through the aquatic exhibit and followed her. I saw her by some live sharks and approached her gently, I didn't want to scare her off again.
"Piper, it's me Nicole" Piper turned her head towards me and said in a voice that wasn't her own "If you want your friend back then your going to have to catch her." Piper once again took off down the hall and through an emergency exit. I took off after her running as fast as I can and just got a glimpse of turning a corner. As I was running after her I remembered we are in a dream and told my self that I could run faster.
No.
I can run faster and instantly I was running so fast that everything blurred. I saw Piper ahead of andI was catching up to her fast. She turned around and saw me catching up, she instantly jumped twenty feet on top of a building and was running on the roof. I jumped up behind her and Piper then jumped across the street onto the other buildings and took off down town. I was losing her and I started to get scared. What if I don't catch her? What would happen me and her? I jumped across the street and fell onto the buildings praying to my dad that I could accomplish this task and get Piper so I can wake her up. As I told myself to go faster I also imagined that Piper was going slower. I looked for her and saw that she was indeed going in slow motion, running across buildings, she turned her head and her eyes turned from brown to black. I was gaining on her and it looked like she didn't know that she running in slow. As I was about to grab her arm she disappeared. I tried to stop but I was to close the edge of the building and fell to the street. Luckily I landed on something squishy that softened my fall, unfortunately that something was a dumpster full of garbage. As I struggled to get out I saw Piper across the street with a smile on her face and ran off - now normal speed- down street and turned a corner. I sighed to my self and got out of the dumpster, and started to walk the way she ran. I knew I lost so I was taking my time, there was reason to waist my strength even though I was dreaming I was also getting tired. As I was walking I wondered what was happening outside of this dream.
I saw Piper talking to some guy and slowly walked towards her, trying to seem like a normal person and blend in with the crowed around me. Once she was in striking range I leaped out and grabbed her around her waist. She screamed and tried to get out but I held on. Then Piper took out her knife and tried to cut me, I know I wasn't supposed to feel pain but OH MY GOD! THAT HURTS! It was burning and blood started to get everywhere. Me and Piper both fell on the ground slipping on my own blood, She was still thrashing but I was also still holding on. I told my self that Pipers knife was really Styrofoam and my blood was not really there. After a couple of seconds everything turned to what I wanted. She was panting and told me in that creepy voice that wasn't hers.
"Good job you caught her but now you have to get rid of me and by doing that your going to have to answer my riddles," the voice was male and I was to shocked by what happened so when Piper got up I didn't try to stop her. She turned around and looked at me, her eyes were still black and our scenery changed so now we were standing in an arena.
"How many riddles to I have to answer?" I was standing on a platform two feet off the ground, Piper was across from sitting a throne that seemed to be made of gold. She was smiling which really freaked me out.
"Five riddles" I took a deep breathe, and prepared my self for riddles. I know they are going to be hard and I can't remember anything about being good with riddles. "Are you ready?"
I nodded my head and Piper said,
"OK, lets begin."

Leo's POV:
When I ran into Annabeth's room which was now being occupied by Nicole, I saw Jason bring Piper to the bed which sat against the wall. Nicole was crying and she seemed very upset and scared. Piper was sleeping so I don't know why everyone was freaking out, then Nicole started blabbing and I couldn't understand her.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!" What did she do? I was totally lost, did she do something to Piper? Everyone else seemed to understand her but I didn't ask what was happening and look like an idiot so I kept quiet. Nico asked her to try to help Piper then Jason got real scary and threatened Nicole. She was really crying now and looked like she wanted to throw up. She grabbed Pipers hand and begged Piper to wake up but nothing happened. Then She got up so fast that we jumped.
"Nicole?" I don't know what was happening and she didn't answer me. I tried again, "Nicole?" Started to fall, "NICOLE!" Nico reached out and grabbed her before she could fall to the ground. "What happened? Is she alive?"
"Yes she is just sleeping," Nico put her on the bed beside Piper. We all waited for something to happen but all they did was breathe and lay there.
"I have to check on Festus I'll be right back," I walked out the room and ran up to the upper deck. I walked to the console and checked if we are still on course. I was still playing what happened in my head when Hazel came up. She seemed pretty shaken up so I asked her,
"Are you OK?" She nodded her head and walked over to the railing, she seemed to be getting over her sea sickness.
"Do you think they are alright?" She looked over at me, I don't know what to say.
"Well yeah, I mean if they're sleeping then they are bound to wake up right?" I don't I helped but Hazel just nodded and head back down to the bunkers. I need to work on my people skills, I'll add that to my list of things I need to work. When I was finished with my work I headed back towards Nicole's room. I opened the door and saw Jason and Nico talking and wondered what they were talking about.
they were talking secretly which I thought was weird and cleared my throat. They stepped away and Nico glared at me, I headed towards the bed and saw that there were cut marks on Nicole's arm.
"What happened?!" Jason ran over and saw the marks on Nicole.
"I don't know, they weren't there before." The marks looked like cut marks and they started to bleed.
"We need nectar or something before she bleeds out!" Nico ran out the room and came back with a small bottle nectar. He handed it to Leo and Leo slowly poured it over Nicole's wounds. More marks started to show up and the nectar wasn't doing anything.
"What should we do?" Jason and Nico didn't seem to have an answer.
"I guess the only thing we can do is wait and make sure Nicole's wounds are treated." Jason grabbed a towel from the bathroom and ripped it into strips, Jason grabbed Nicole's arm gently and started to wrap it up. There was a lot of blood and before we knew it the cloth was soaked in blood. We had to change the sheets three times and Nicole's bandage four times before the blood finally stopped. Her face was pale and Nico looked worried, I knew he can sense spirits and stuff but even I was nervous. We waited patiently for something else to happen and Jason was scared that something was going to happen Piper.
After about an hour something finally happened but it was not good at all. Nicole suddenly started to get cuts all over her body and her started to bleed like she hit or something. Jason ran out to get everyone while I tried to treat Nicole's wounds as best as I can. Then Piper started to get cuts all over. There was so much blood I din't know what do, Jason ran back and saw Piper before he started to freak again.
"What do we do!? Whats happing?! How do we stop this?!" Frank was trying to calm Jason down but Jason just shrugged him away and start dot pace around the room. He looked like he wanted to kill someone and cry at the same time.
Then suddenly Piper woke screaming.
