Nicolas Evens: The Rise of the new ones

The battle raged on into chaos and disarray after, Adam was claimed. I don't mean that everyone went on killing spree, but when Adam took the lead he was different than before. He didn't hesitate or doubt himself. He had become a natural warrior bound by instincts and unnnerved.

I took up the flank, and disarmed any soldiers that attempted on ambushing us. When we reached the creek, we decided to take a break. Walking up to the raging streams, I crouched down and took a sip of water.

"This is freshwater." I advised. "Take a sip."

Kneeling down beside me, Adam took a handful of water and drank. His silent demenour was now at easy. He didn't feel nervous or awkward, he was just calm. Like he didn't mind being a demigod son of Apollo.

"What is it?" He murmured.

"Just that you seem different. More confident and intune with your heritage." I smiled. "Are you comfortable being the son of Apollo?"

"I've never met the guy, but from what you told me, he isn't half bad. Although most people would ask a thousand questions, I just know he had his reasons. If he ever wishes to explain himself, I'll listen."

"Deep." I smirked. "Well, you sure are smart. Which is good for a demigod. Let's get moving then. The Mural crown should be near by. We'll be one of the first teams to find it."

"I'm sorry." Adam sighed. "But I can't do this as a team. You're an experienced demigod, so I'm breaking pack right here. I'll defeat you and take the crown for myself."

With a serious look in his eyes, Adam held his gaurd. Taking a deep breath, I gripped Illiad. As the celestial bronze sword, shimmered through the forest, I charged forward. . .


Our blades had danced for minutes and I was now kneeling on the ground exhausted and wounded. Scars covered his face as he slowoy rose to his feet. Gazing at him, Adam smiled.

"You're pretty durable. A child of Hades, please show me your abilities. I know you can manipulate fire, what else can you do?"

"I can't manipulate fire, I'm capable of using magic. It's called mystokinesis. But you are right, I do have other abilities." I conveyed. Clenching my fist, the earth roared to my command. In a shockwave of magnitude, the earth released itself to my command.

"Geokinesis. Intriuging, But you must have the ability to control the dead right?" Adam suggested. In a swift movement, I pinned him down to the ground and held my sword to his neck.

"Enjoyed the show?" I chided. "Now, we're working together, the next time you try something like that, I will personally see to it, that you spend eternity tormented by the souls of the dead. Understood?!"

"Ye-Yes." Adam murmured frightened at my wrath. Calmly releasing him, I took a deep breath and smiled. Gazing at the distance, I figured we were going to have to move fast.

"It's almost time. Grab onto me." I sighed. In a shroud of darkness, we vanished into our shadows.

Adam vs Nicolas. That was a small reveal of Nicolas's powers, thepowers of Hades are showned to be powerful, but considering Nicolas was still holdinbg back we can assume he has far more power than he is leading on.

Adam seems to be smart about the gods and their actions, he doesn't seem to even care about Apollo's reasons, he just accepts them. Wisdom isn't just from Athena, they called Apollo the god of knowledge and truth at one point in time.
