Review:

I started reading this a while back, when it was still updating but I didn't want to re-read it for reasons being (and if you know me I'm really optimistic so please understand) I ABSOLUTELY HATE this story! Now this review will be a lot more descriptive because there are things in this one that you have to aware of

1) It had WAAAY too much smut (sex).

When it was still updating and I was reading it, I thought it would be a good book, seeing that it was rated PG-13 (when it really should have been rated NC-17), cute title, cover art by Vira that suggested some action. I was wrong:
This story was set after House of Hades, when Percy and Annabeth are back on the Argo ll : so obviously we have to put in sex between them in there. At that point I was like, "Well I don't like it but there has to be a plot in here somewhere" So I kept reading: more smut. I kept on going, more smut: I ended up thinking, "IS EVERYONE HAVING SEX IN HERE?!" Then Piper and Jason decided that they would wait and I cheered them on! And then nope: they gave into lust and had sex. I was mad!

Then Luke somehow came back from the dead and I was all like! Yeah cool a story plot in forming and Thalia came from the Hunters and there was a ship, I thought it was cool cause she was conflicted between Luke and her sworn oath to Artemis. But then I was brought down again because of the smut. I mean seriously I know it happens, but not at this scale! Some people wait for sex! It was like Aphrodite overdosed on the "Love" potion! I mean seriously the only couple that didn't do "the thing" was Frank and Hazel and they were hardly in there!

2) The actual plot was extremely blurry it was all about saving Luke, but that seemed to take a side stage as we learn a little too much what's going on in everyone's bed. So the plot was pointless.

3) Swear by the River Styx is extremely descriptive when comes to the smut but not to the plot and the fighting action stuff. I wanna say that the writing is straight up porn! Reasons being it creates feelings inside and if you're like me (you're very visual) you actually see what's going on! It was very sickening to the pit of my stomach, and it's not at all healthy.

I'm sorry but I did NOT like this story at ALL so I have to give this story a rating of 0!
