It Started With the Labyrinth

I woke up on the deck of a huge bronze warship. It was the middle of the night. I had the brown shirt that said dreamer and the black jeans, but otherwise I was completly different. My hair now had a light blue streak in it. I was 15. My left arm was covered in marker drawings.

I looked around. I didn't see anyone else. Then I saw Nico standing on the mast of the ship. Instinctively I shouted, "Nico, get off of the mast! You might fall!"

He slid down the pole. Then he saw me and smiled. "Lily!"

"Nico, what is this place? Is it the past? I thought there weren't any of these ships left."

His reply is just "Road trip. Sort of."

"That sure did clear it up." I say sarcastically.

"Okay. When there was a war with Gaea, Leo built this ship. Then a bunch of demigods went to defeat her. We suceded. Now all of the demigods who were on the ship are going on a road trip. We will get back to camp tomorrow morning. The end. Happy now?"

"Yep!" I reply cheerfully.

A bay came into view. "Hide! They'll probably end up accendintally killing you because they don't know you!" Nico looks sincerely worried, so I hide behind a barrel. "Guys!", he calls out, "We're almost there!" A group of kids that look like they just got out of bed walk over to Nico.

A girl with golden brown hair starts scolding Nico. "Did you stay up all night again? Honestly, it's getting ridiculous!"

He looks down at his feet. "I couldn't sleep."

"Give the kid a break, Hazel!" The other kids chorused.

A boy with bleached blond hair looks at Nico curiously and asks, "Who were you talking to?"

Nico sort of just stands there and says "Myself. I was talking to myself." He doesn't know how true that is.
