The new Goddess

I woke up in a stable. Sheep were standing next to me. 'Hi. I'm sorry for using your stable. Hope you don't mind.' They didn't respond. The even didn't seem to notice me. I stood up, my body hurt everywhere. After a while I managed to get outside. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and birds sang. Then I saw Finn. 'You stupid cow!' I yelled, and I started to run. I hugged him. 'You could have died! You almost got us killed!' I remembered I was mad at him and punched him. 'What were you thinking?!' I just couldn't stop yelling at him. I didn't care that Abby and Callum were looking. Why was Finn so stupid? 'I... I was just trying to protect you...' Finn said.
'You don't have to protect me!' I aswered.
'Yeah, I know now...'
'What do you mean?'
Before he could answer I noticed a girl walking in our direction.
'I'm so sorry,' she said, 'do I interrupt?'
'Oh, this is Tess.' Finn said. 'She helped us taking you to this place.'
I looked at Tess. She had brown hair and blue eyes, she was wearing shorts and a blue shirt. She was barefoot.
'Where do you come from?' I asked her.
'I live here, with the sheep.' She answered.
'Parents?'
'No parents, I've never met them.'
Weird, I thought. 'So, what happened after I blacked out?'
'Not much.' Callum said. I was surprised he'd finally said something.
'Finn went looking for you because we couldn't see you anymore. A few minutes later Abby and I saw a sort of white explosion. We ran to help you guys. We found Finn standing over your body. Then Tess showed up. She led us to this please. ' He continued.
I looked at Tess, then at Callum and then at Abby. They cared about me?
Suddenly Finn and Abby were flirting again. This was definitely NOT the right time to do that. 'Hey!' I said. No reaction. 'HEY!' Nothing. That was strange, I mean, they had flirted before, but they'd never ignored me. If it wasn't bad enough, they started to kiss each other. How could they do this on a quest? Were they crazy or something? I walked in their direction to look better at them. First I didn't see anything strange, but then I noticed little red arrows in their chests. 'Eros.' I said.
'Who?' Tess asked.
'Eros, god of love. Son of Aphrodite and Ares. If he hits you with one of his arrows, well then you're in love. Madly in love.'
'Ahh, you mean Cupido!'
'Well, yeah, but that's his Latin name.'
I heard someone laugh.
'Eros!' I called. 'Show yourself! This is not funny!'
A handsome boy came out of the woods. He had his bow in his hand and the little rad arrows in his belt. He smiled. 'What do you think of this cute couple?'
'I hate it.' I said. 'Bring them back to normal.'
'Sweetheart, don't you see? They're so happy together!'
'Yeah because of your stupid arrows! Love is fake if it goes that way, I guess you have to learn a lot about love.'
'I think I now more about love then you.... Love is about being there for each other. You'll do anything to make your love happy. Real love is when you're prepared to give your life for your love-'
'Yeah, yeah, I get it. Now bring them back to normal, will you?'
Eros grinned. 'No.'
'You evil little-'
'Stop it!' Tess said. 'Please Cupido! They're on a important quest, and this isn't helping! We will offer to you every day if you let them go!'
'Cupido...' Eros said. 'That's my Latin name. Are you Latin, my deer?'
'Ehm no? I don't think so.'
'Well, Latin girl, because you've asked so nice I let them go, but I want the offers every day! Understand? Otherwise I'll come looking for you.'
Tess smiled. 'Thank you! And we won't forget!'
Eros clapped his hands and Abby and Finn got back to normal.
'Cover your eyes, demigods.' Eros said.
We did what he said and Eros disappeared. Stupid love god, I thought.
I looked at Tess. 'I guess you want to join us on our quest?'
She nodded and smiled.
'What about your sheep.' Abby said. She didn't look happy about Tess coming with us.
'Oh, they'll save their selfs. Trust me.' Tess answered.
I looked at Finn, he was still confused. I understood, he'd just kissed Abby. I hoped it was gross. He noticed me looking at him and smiled. I didn't smile back and looked away. Akward.
