Blog Post 22

A blonde headed girl. She was wearing a black tank top, black skinny jeans with a TON of pockets, and a belt holding ammo refills. Her messy blonde hair is pulled back into a ponytail and she has black all over her face. Her eyes are a deep violet color, and so is she. The air around her radiated violet, and I trust her immediately. I know, I know. Come on. Cheesy right? Well, actually not. A persons color normally shows what their like, and their fatal flaw. She is incredibly loyal and friendly, slow to anger, but slow to forgive. She holds out her hand, and I grasp it as she pulls me up, sending a tingling sensation all over me.

I lean on her for support, as I slowly try and take a step. Apparently she's like a super woman, because she just picks me up and carries me over to my wheelchair, which surprisingly, wasn't broken. She carefully sets me in it, and I adjust my body.

"You okay? I probably should have asked earlier but I don't know why I didn't." She taps her chin. "You okay?" She says, in an extremely quick fashion, reminding me of Dory from Nemo.

I smile. "I think so. All my limbs seem to be attached, and nothing's broken." I quickly frown. "Well, my back is hurting me, but it's probably because it took most of the impact." She grabs a tiny bail from one of her many pockets and tosses it to me. I catch it quickly and uncork it, pouring it into my mouth. Ahh. The homey taste of homemade baked potato soup, with REAL bacon. Now, some people would be like, wait. She just drank a vial from a complete stranger, and doesn't know what it is. Well, to those people I say, I do know what it is. It's Nectar!

I toss her back the vial and thank her. "Hey. What's your name?" I ask.

"Clary. What's yours?" She replies.

"Trixie. I'm a daughter of Boreas." Her face changes almost ten times in one second. "Oh. Your her? Wow. Cool."

"Who's your godly parent?" I ask, trying to guess. Ares? Possibly. Athena? Eh. Probably not. Hermes? Na. She's too nice. Apollo? Hmm.

"Um, I'm not sure. I haven't been claimed, and I've been here for over two years." She answers, fiddling with a pistol, undocking it, and re cocking it. Taking the cartridge out, and clicking it back in. She aims for a falling board, and fires, hitting it all five times.

"Two years?" I ask.

She just nods, and puts the pistol in its holster. "We probably should get out of here. I'll push you. It be faster." She says and she walks over to the back of me and starts pushing over the debris and dust. I cover my mouth with my hand, coughing up dust. When we reach the hole in the wall, I'm surprised at what's outside. It's snowing, but it's black snow. I breath deeply as we reach fresh air, and I blink my eyes ferociously, trying to re-wet them.

When I see the looks on the camper faces, I back up, and run, well roll, away, not wanting to see the horrific looks and surprised faces. I burst through the door to my cabin, and Sab is sitting on her bed, with a book in her lap.

"What's that? Ways to hate your half sister? Or ways to make your family miserable? Or hmm. How about ways to KILL your half sister?!" I say, almost screaming.

She just smiles. "No, doofus. It's a Greek book." She holds up the book showing me the title. Furious, I pick up a chair, and throw it at her, aiming for above her head. She just ducks, and keeps on reading. "Throwing things and temper tantrums will get you no where!" She says, cocking her head to the side.

"Ugh! Just stop. Stop. I know your in league with Khione, I know your trying to make my life miserable, I know your jealous, and for all I know, your trying to kill me!" I say, throwing my hands up in the air in exasperation.

"Stop being so dramatic Trixie." She rolls her eyes. "Honestly. You are SUCH a drama queen."

"Oh. Me? I wasn't the one who threw my sisters clothes in a suitcase, pushed my sister in a wheel chair down stairs, and proceeded to THROW the suitcase at her!" I can tell my face is red, because it's on fire. Not literally, it's just really hot.

Sab just rolls her eyes, and looks down at her book. "Do you know how childish you sound? You sound like a toddler. Just grow up."

That set me off. I'm not really sure wha happened, everything was a blur of red. All I remember was the look of Sabrina's face. It was priceless. She was utterly shocked. Her mouth hanging open, eyes almost POPPING out of their sockets, her nose flaring. I remember her hair flying every which way, but I can't remember why.

I remember being pulled away, out of the cabin, and me, clutching my head. I remember an intense pain in my right leg, something I hadn't felt in months, and a massive headache. My gut felt like a dummy that had been punched by three professional boxers.

My brain feels like a bag of jelly beans. All mixed up, and confused. My legs and arms feel like jello, as feeling creeps painfully up by back and arms. My head is pounding like a drum, and my arms feel like needles. I try to open my eyes but they're like marble. I can feel my face getting hotter as I strain to lift my eyelids. With no results, I sigh, and try and become more aware of my surrounding.

I can feel cool sheets underneath me and a slight breeze coming from above. My hair is in a ponytail, and I have on a cotton t-shirt and I think skinny jeans. I have no shoes on, but I can feel the socks on my feet. My head is propped up by pillows. I hear a door open, noting the creaking noise of metal. I breath in through my nose, getting a huge whiff of chemicals, clean sheets, outdoors, and something else I can't quite decipher. Possibly burnt flesh.

I hand touches my wrist, checking for a pulse, and then my forehead. My eyes crack open and I see a man in a lab coat talking to a woman in a nurses uniform. She hands him something and he turns around and cleans the inside of my elbow with rubbing alcohol.

Knowing what's coming next, my eyelids fly open and I knock the needle out of his hands and jump up, like and idiot. My legs buckle and I grab the bed for support. I pull my self up and slide back into the bed, looking over the man, overwhelmed with blue air.

He has dark brown hair, and bright sparkling blue eyes. He has a average nose, and normal lips, except for the scar going from the corner of his upper lip to the opposite corner of his bottom lip. He is about 5'9, with a blue shirt, and white medical pants. He looks like someone out of a movie. Handsome, but interesting. He reminds me of Jason Bourne, but way cuter.

"Who are you?" I ask, probably not so nicely.

"My name is Brian. I'm a doctor, and your my patient." He smiles.

"I get that, but where am I, and why am I here?" I demanded.

He just sighs. "Everyone wants to know. Well, your in a hospital in Manhattan, and your here because you made your cabin collapse. We're just giving you a check up to make sure nothing serious happened."

"Wait. I made it collapse? How?"

He shrugs. "I don't know the details. You can ask your friend Annabeth later. Right now, I need to give you some medicine."

I look at him, probably with a queer look. "What medicine?"

"Just some penicillin."

I back up. "I'm allergic."

He frowns. "You are?"

I show him the bracelet I've been wearing for 14 years. It has my info on it, also saying I'm allergic to penicillin.

"How did I not notice that?" He says, running his hand through is hair. As he did, I noticed a mark on his wrist. It was faint, but it was there. A long line of dead tissue going across the inside of his wrist, and just below it, a Greek symbol that made me back up. I turn to the other side of the bed and see a lady holding my wheel chair.

"I need to go. Now." I say, sliding to the other side of the bed, and practically jumping into the chair, and rolling towards the door. I pull the handle and rush out, dodging nurses, and rolling trays. I make it out the entry door, and almost trample Annabeth.

"Woah. Where are you going?" She says as she stumbles out of the way.

"Away. Now. You have a car?" She nods and starts running, hopefully, towards it. I rush after her, looking over my shoulder. Brian comes running out, his lab coat flying behind him. We reach a white van, and I wheel in, yelling at her to go. Once were on the road she starts asking questions.

"Why'd you run off like that?"

"Brian. I saw the mark of his wrist." My feet are cold from the lack of shoes.

She looks back at me, her face covered in worry. "No. Not.."

"Ya. He has the mark. The Mark of Boreas."

A head pops out from the passenger seat. "What's the Mark of Boreas?" His black hair a mess, and his green eyes dancing with mischief, he gives me a crooked smile.

"Normally, when you see the Mark of Boreas, it means they're mortals who know of the gods, like Rachel for instance, and they've joined Boreas. But, Boreas enlists them for his army, and he sends them to kill demigods, and monsters. If you ever see the mark, get out fast. They've been trained to know demigods by their smell." Annabeth explains.

"They also are trained assassins, killing anyone who gets in their way. They don't just kill demigods and monsters. Boreas may be my dad, but I'm not proud of it. I know his history, unfortunately, and it's gruesome and unpleasant." I paused, not wanting to say what else, but I do anyway. "His army killed my parents." I turn my head to the side to hide the unwanted tears welling up in my eyes.

"It was Khione. She ordered them too." I balled my fists, my nails digging into my palms. I'm sad and angry, as I feel a hot tears fall down my face, from grief and pain. Also the pain in my hands.

"I know this is hard. I can't imagine what it would be like to loose my family, especially my mom." Percy says, reaching for my hand. I squeeze his hand, wanting to punch something. I furiously wipe the tears away.

"I can't go back." I say. Percy loosens his grip.

"Go back where?"

"Camp. I can't go back to Camp."

"That's crazy." Annabeth says. "You have to. Where else would you go?"

"I don't know. But I know I can't go back. Not after.." I pause. "Not after what I did."

"It wasn't your fault Trixie. Sabrina baited you." Annabeth says, keeping her eyes on the road.

"I could have held back. But I didn't. And I destroyed that cabin. What did I do?"

Percy glances at at Annabeth. "You didn't kill or hurt anyone. Scared the heck out of the campers, but no one was injured. You kinda summoned a freak wind storm. I saw it. It was amazing. The air was all different colors, but it destroyed the cabin, and we couldn't find Sab. But we know she's okay because we found a note."

I glance up, staring into his sea green eyes. "What did it say?" I ask urgency covering my voice. He looks at Annabeth again, their eyes meeting.

"You don't want to know. It basically said she was okay, and then something you don't want to hear."

"I do. I want to know what it said." I say.

"How about when we get to camp we show you."

"I told you. I can't go to camp." I say angrily.

Percy whispers something to Annabeth, and she pulls over and hope out. Percy gets in the drivers seat, Annabeth takes the passenger's seat, and we start driving, but at a much faster pace.

"If you refuse to go back to Camp, we can take you to a safe house. Well, it's a home, and another girl lives in it, but she won't bother you." Percy says, gripping the strafing wheel as he true a onto a dirt road.

Bouncing in the back I ask, "And who is this girl?"

"Uh, her name is Sarah Lesley. She's a bit like you. In the sense that she sees similar to you. She doesn't talk much, and walks around with her eyes closed so she doesn't see." Annabeth says.

"Huh. So I hope she doesn't mind that I can't walk. And if she keeps her eyes closed, then how does she see?"

"She walks around with a special cane that makes a silent noise (I know. Totally counterintuitive) and she hears the sound waves. Like a blind person." Percy says, taking a right into some woods.

"Neat." I say, and lay back, and close my eyes, wondering who this Sarah Lesley was, and how my life would be now.
