Blog Post 20

I want to slap that stupid, cold, evil, heartless, devil of a goddess. Really? And Sab. She's in league with Khione. So it's been about two weeks since my last blog post, so let me fill you in. I can walk again! Wait. That comes later. Oops! Spoiler! Okay. So it was July 12......

Everyone was singing Happy Birthday to Annabeth, and I was sitting in the back, enjoying the moment. Annabeth has a huge grin on her face, as she blows out the owl shaped cake. Percy is standing next to her with his arm around her. She looks up happily into his face and they kiss, making the crowd roar. Don't ask me how old she is, I have no clue. All I know is it's my birthday too, but no one knows. I don't want anyone to know because I'd rather not celebrate my birthday.

What? Don't judge me!

Later tonight everyone jumps in the lake, and Percy make an amazing water show. It's really cool. The water swirls up in a spiral, making a tornado like figure, the bursts into mist, and creates a rainbow in the moonlight. Percy makes the mist go in all which directions, the mist in the shape of a tube.

After the show, everyone just chills, floating in the lake, and some people were splashing each other. I'm sitting in my chair by the lake, enjoying the view, and watching everyone. I sigh, lean back and close my eyes. A year trickles down my face as I remember my parents, and how they would have wanted a huge party for me, and invited some family friends and Forest, making a huge deal of of my measly birthday.

I feel a hand on my chair, and the next thing I know, I'm in the lake, sinking to the bottom. I scream, getting water in my mouth making me choke. I want to shout out, but my face is submerged and I'm surrounded by water. My eyes closed, holding my breath, I slowly sink, wishing, pleading for someone to notice. I feel the water moving around me, like waves splashing in the ocean.

A current starts tossing me like a bean bag, and I get thrown about like a bull rider. My breath gets pulled out of my lungs, and I feel my self getting tired, and light headed from the lack of air.

I'm thrashing around when I feel something touch my hand, making me go still. I feel a hand brush my face, and grab my arm. Another grabs my other arm, and I'm lifted up. I gasp for air, coughing, trying to get the water out of my lungs. The salty water burns my throat. My vision goes foggy as I feel my body touch the warm sand. It feels like I'm being wrapped in a dark, stuffy blanket, and whoever wrapped me in it won't let me out. I feel a finger on my forehead, and all the water from my lungs comes pouring out, and I lose consciousness.
