Nico and Reyna's quest with the Athena Parthenos

Its been a month now since Reyna and I have got the Parthenos back to camp and the demigods of Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter have been building a new camp where everyone lives. I was walking around in the forest when I heard a faint growling sound from behind me, then I heard a female voice yell as I turned around their was a pack of 3 hellhounds and Reyna with a sword drawn and blood and cuts everywhere on her... she looked like she was going to pass out from exhaustion. I drew my sword and ran by her side "Let me guess... they have been walking around with you and they attacked" I said, she nodded "Yep" her voice was strained like it hurt to talk. I slashed at the first 2 who attacked me as Reyna fought the 3rd one. We kept fighting for hours, these hellhounds were the biggest and strongest I have ever seen, I fought until I looked as bad as Reyna, I heard a cry of pain after I killed the 2 I was fighting and looked over to see Reyna pinned down, claws pressed down onto her chest, its mouth not inches from her neck about to bite, and I did something very stupid. I ran as fast as I could before tackling around its head with all my strength taking it off Reyna, sadly, it landed onto sinking its long teeth into my shoulder, I yelled loudly as it ripped its teeth out then finding Reyna again as she got to her feet but collapsed, laying there unconscious. I managed to get on my feet as the hound slowly walked towards Reyna, I lifted my sword and ran as well as I could, my vision blurry from blood loss. I stabbed the hellhound in the side hitting its heart killing it Reyna woke up as I helped her onto her feet "you okay?" she asked, I shook my head as she collapsed against me "you aren't okay either" I said as I looked down at her, gently laying down and giving her some nectar and ambrosia. I waited as both of our injuries slowly healed from the nectar and ambrosia, Reyna was pale and shaky but her wounds closed,I helped her walk back towards camp where the cabins were, I had volunteered to let he sleep in my cabin as the Belona cabin was being built. We got into the cabin and I helped her lay down as she shook horribly bad, "I'm find Nico don't be so worried" she said in a strained weak voice "I am worried Reyna... I don't think that could change right now" I said, I heard my voice crack slightly. I sat by her for a few hours just talking with her "I wish I could help you more than this Reyna" I said, she reached out and cupped my cheek, I rested my face against her hand smiled slightly "I love you" I heard her whisper, she smiled as she saw me blush, she sat up so I was looking straight at her, she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me, my eyes went wide before I could close them and kiss her back. She pulled away after a few seconds and smiled seeing my surprised expression, I eventually smiled and just said "I love you too" I said as let me lay down by her, I kissed her one more before I fell asleep.
