Nico and Reyna's quest with the Athena Parthenos

Nico and I left the infirmary to have crowds of Roman and Greek demigods surround us, a lot of them were congratulating Nico, I didn't mind it though, he looked happy. After everyone left Nico showed me around the camp "wow, to be honest, this place looks a lot more fun New Rome" I said to him, he smiled "yeah it can be" he said as she showed me that last part of the camp, the cabins "so how about that promise I made, where do you want to go" he asked me, I thought for a minute, I completely forgot he promised he would take me somewhere, I nodded and smiled "lets just go to a restaurant or something like that... I want to know what normal food taste like, not Roman" I said, he smiled at me and I smiled back "lets go then" he said as he took my hand shadow traveling us to somewhere far I guessed because it took us 20 minutes, I started shaking, my eyes squeezed shut, I just couldn't stand the noise and feelings you have while shadow traveling. Nico held me in his arms the entire time "thank you" I said, my voice muffled, my face buried into his chest "for what?" he asked, I looked up at him, it was hard to believe he was a few inches taller than me for such a scrawny kid "for taking somewhere I've never been, and trying to make shadow travel not seem so bad" I said and smiled at him, he smiled back "your welcome" he said. We got spit out of the darkness and were standing outside of a really classy looking restaurant, I couldn't read the name because of my dyslexia, like all demigods "wow" I said looking through the windows "lets go in" he said to me and smiled, taking my hand he pulled me in. We sat by each other in the back of the restaurant, I was silent for awhile as I looked around the restaurant and out the windows "you ok?" Nico asked me, I nodded "yeah I'm fine, this is just so cool" I said and smiled, he smiled and we ordered our food. I folded my arms, shivering "isn't it cold enough in here?" I said and looked at him, shivering more, he wrapped his jacket around my shoulder and wrapped his arms around me, I blushed and he did too "I-Is this l-like a d-date?" I asked and stuttered, thinking the question was weird but he shrugged "I don't know, why do you think It would be one?" he asked me "because, you take out for food, and you wrap your jacket and arms around me as if it was" I said and laid my head in his chest "but I don't mind it" I said, he smiled at me. We sat like that until our food came, we talked and ate for next hour, we finished "we should head back" I said, he nodded and took my hand taking us back to camp, holding me in his arms again. We were by the lake when the darkness was gone, I laid down in the sand, looking at the moon, I blushed when he laid down next to me, I laid closer to him, falling asleep, he didn't make any attempts to wake me, he slept by me. I woke up, Nico was gone, I got up and went looking for him, someone told me he was in the forest. I walked around the forest, finding Nico in a tall grassy meadow, it seemed like he disappeared as I felt someone wrap their arms around my from behind and yelled "boo!" I jumped and saw it was Nico, I blushed "jeez Nico, you scared me" I told him, he smirked "that was my plan" he said, I smiled as we talked and walked around the meadow for the rest of the day and fell asleep by each other in the tall grass, with Nico holding me close to him.
