Time's Daughter
Darkness
It feels so dark and cold. I can't see anything. I'm scared. I don't like it. I have no control over anything. Why is it so dark? Wait. It's not dark. I can see something. I can see more than that. I can everything. All that was. All that is. All that ever could be. It hurts. It is too much. Far too much for people to be able to see. I close my eyes. I don't want to see this.
"You take over," I say. "I just want to sleep."
"Okay," answers a voice. I don't ask where it came from. It doesn't concern me. It hurts to much think. I must sleep.
Another voice calls out to me. It sounds familiar. Very familiar. I like that voice I realize. But I am tired. I fall asleep.
"You have to take me to her!" I insisted.
Percy and Jason thought it would be a bad idea. They were right of course. Angel was killing people without a second thought, but I had to talk to her. I couldn't just stand by and let this happen. I had to talk to her.
In the end they agreed, but first we were going to see if anyone who knew her when she was like this before knew how to stop her. Which meant we were going to meet her family. We were going to Phoenix.
Notes
