Dawn's POV

We walked up the path.I asked Zoe what the Oracle had said.She recited the prophecy:

"One that is cursed to never be seen,
Shall find what she wants and be more than a dream.
When sisters fight to the gate of light,
The question that's asked will finally be right.
The son of dreams must find a way,
To make the hated one pay."

I didn't know who the hated one was,but the son of dreams was obviously Matthew.I look at the other's faces and see they're thinking the same thing.Matthew fell back to walk beside Zoe.They started whispering and I fought the urge to eavesdrop.I sped up and came out of the woods.I ran to the armory and grabbed a bow and arrow.I had been here for a year or so,and I had become quite capable with a bow and arrow.
I saw Matthew and Zoe coming out of the woods holding hands;they kissed then Zoe came towards the armory.I ducked around the corner and listened to her rustle the clutter of weapons inside the armory.I saw her emerge with a sword in her hand.I ran the other way and entered the Hypnos cabin.

Zoe's POV

I told them the prophecy.Dawn ran ahead to camp as Matthew stepped back and walked slowly with me.He said,"So,leader of a quest?"
I smiled at him."To be honest,I'm not sure how I feel about that."
He smiled back at me and said,"Any idea what the prophecy meant?"
I shook my head."It seemed bad,though."
He slipped his hand into mine and said,"Don't worry.Most prophecies sound worse than they actually are."
I slowed down and so did he."I'm still worried,though.I don't see how this quest will help Zia."
We came out of the woods and he looked at me and said,"Sometimes things don't turn out the way you think they will."
With that,for the first time,he kissed me on the lips.I sunk into the kiss and he spread my hair over my shoulder,looking me in the eyes with his twinkling ones,and slowly pulled away.
He smiled and turned,running to the Big House.
I stood in the sun for a minute,enjoying the memory of his lips on mine,before I headed to the armory.

Matthew's POV

I smiled as I ran.That had been the best first kiss I could've imagined.I entered the Big House,still smiling,and knocked on Chiron's office door.
He answered."You may come in."
I pushed open the door and stepped in.On the walls,pictures of heroes looked down on Chiron's organized desk,which was raised five feet in the air for him,since he couldn't sit down.
I stepped to the desk and said,"Chiron,Zeus said something about his daughter.Do you think there's actually a daughter of Zeus out there?"
Chiron put down something I hadn't noticed he was holding-a photo album,from the looks of it,a pretty old one.He closed it and turned to answer."I have my suspicions.If there is,she must be protected at all costs."
I respond."Well Zeus talked about his daughter as if she was already here,and in danger."
Chiron turned."Indeed."
"And Zia wasn't claimed by Poseidon…Chiron,what if Zia's the daughter of Zeus?" I thought aloud.
"She very well might be." Chiron said."Matthew,don't tell anyone about this.Not even Zoe."
I open my mouth to argue,then think better of it.I leave and close the door behind me.

Zia's POV

The silver waves are getting higher.
I strain against the chains.
I can't feel anything.
I try to sense if anything is out there.
Where am I?
How long have I been here?
The waves reach higher,relentlessly.
Please help me!
