A/N: Just wanna give out a few thanks. Thank you to UltimateBookWorm and Calypso, who were my first comments (that weren't me :P) on this story. It makes me happy to know you guys like what I write. Thank you also, to my friends Kaley, Danica, Jessica, Christine,Lawrence, and Callie. If you guys are reading this right now, thank you so much for being the awesome people you are.I know we've had our good and bad moments, but you guys made my life amazing. Anyways, read on!

Nico's POV

Clytius was huge. He was at least 40 feet tall with the shape of a human. The only difference was that it looked like he was wrapped in a blanket of darkness. Hazel, Leo, and Natalie were trying their hardest to distract him. Hazel, able to sense me, held out one finger, signaling me to wait. I repeated the message to the rest.

I held up my hand. Wait. I mouthed.

Natalie's POV

Hazel had already told me that she was able to sense Nico. So when she got all fidgety, it took all my willpower to not look back. Leo was distracting Clytius by throwing random things from his tool belt at him. Suddenly, Hazel created a flimsy wall of gems between us and the tunnel, and Nico and the rest crashed through. My vision started to fade.

Really?!? Again, mom?! I think.

Oh, I'm not your mother, child. A woman's voice in my head said.

I hear somebody yell my name.

"Natalie!!!"

Don't listen to them, dear. The woman said. Listen to me.

But who are you? I think.

You still don't know who I am? Shame. Guess I'll have to show you.

A woman's face appeared on the floor. Her eyes were closed, and she had a slight smile on her face, like she was having a good dream.

Gaea. I said with all the hatred in my heart.

Good, good. You remember your old life, yes? She said.

Um, yeah? I say. Where is she going with this?

You could have that back. You could have them all back. Olive. Tina. You could have your perfect life back, and all you have to do is join me. Help me defeat the gods. Gaea said.

Fat chance, Dirt Face. I say.

I stomped on the floor where her face was. Gaea disappeared, and my vision cleared.

"Oh gods, Natalie," I heard Nico say. "Are you okay? The fight's almost over, we need your help."

I stand up and grab my Celestial Bronze dagger. Nico and I join the fight, stabbing at random places. Soon enough, Clytius falls to the ground and disintegrates. We all jump to his ashes, kicking them around to make sure he's not back for a long while. Apparently, Hecate appeared while I was out, because she stood in front of me.

"You were brave, standing up to Gaea like that." she said.

"How--" I said, the stopped myself. I was known for talking in my sleep. "She offered me my old life, but I know I could never leave now." I put one arm around Nico and squeezed.

He smiled. "Thanks for not leaving me, Nat."
******************************************************************************************************

Back on the ship, Coach Hedge was firing at the ruins of the House of Hades. He missed every time.

"Woah, Coach, what are you doing?" Jason said.

"I heard rumbling! And monsters!" Coach Hedge said.

We laughed. Later that night, I heard Percy on the top deck.

"Bob says hello," he said.

Notes

No, this is NOT the end. Gods, no. I just thought this would be a good way to end the chapter. If you are any of the people who I mentioned in the second thanks, just wanted to say sorry for anything that went wrong with any of you guys. You guys are awesome people, just know that. Anyways, see ya later!
