The Ultimate Fangirl

I woke up with a throbbing forehead. I checked the time with my horrible vision, which was blurry because of sleep. It looked like 6:30 PM. Then I rubbed my eyes and saw the real time: 9:40 AM.

Ugh. I am so tired, I thought. My mind was screaming at me to sleep, but my eyes didn't feel tired. For a while, I just sat there, staring at the wall. Then I decided to name my brain. How about...Grace? Or Beth?

Grace.

No, Beth.

Grace.

Beth.

Grace. I couldn't decide! I loved both so much. Then I thought of something even better. Brianna! 'Cause you know, my brain is named Brianna...Yeah. Brianna likes her name.

And just as I was about to comply to Brianna's orders of telling me to sleep, my phone buzzed. I was expecting a text from my best friend, Echo, but she was probably having brunch with the rest of our group at the time.

Turns out the text was from...Percy Jackson. My heart immediately began racing as I read the text, which I quickly replied to.

SeaweedBrainIsMyName: k i believe u about leo.

TheUltimateFangirl: oh really now?

SeaweedBrainIsMyName: ya...sorry for the mixup.

TheUltimateFangirl: its ok i guess. anyway, what was that about leo dying ur hair?

SeaweedBrainIsMyName: Rick wrote about leo and stuff, right? like, the prankster side of him?

TheUltimateFangirl: ya i know about that. so ur hairs red?

SeaweedBrainIsMyName: no. its normal now cause i convinced aphrodite to fix me up.

TheUltimateFangirl: ...thats awesome man. aphrodite must like you enough to help u then. hey. can we like, meet up some time?

SeaweedBrainIsMyName: ur a mortal right? i dunno if you being around me is safe for u. and i have no idea where u live.

TheUltimateFangirl: i live in san francisco, which would be where camp jupiter is. and who knows? i might turn out to be a demigod...

SeaweedBrainIsMyName: ok if ur so sure.... how about starbucks? with the seven?

TheUltimateFangirl: its a fangirl's dream! of course! but 2morrow. I'm sick today.

SeaweedBrainIsMyName: hope you get better soon then. :( so, 4:00 pm?

TheUltimateFangirl: sure. now i gtg. bye! :)

SeaweedBrainIsMyName: bye!
