The Ultimate Fangirl

"Ready?" I asked quietly. "Remember that I'm most likely going to collapse after this."

"We're very grateful, Nico." A female voice said in a slightly bored tone. What was her name? Ashley? Raine? I wasn't quite sure what to call the girl, but I was saved by another person. Jack, I think, was his name.

He nudged the girl and mumbled, "Be nice, Ash. We wouldn't be able to get to 'Frisco without Nico here." Jack nodded at me and clapped me on the shoulder.

I stiffened and said coldly, "Don't touch me." Jack frowned and nodded. The Seven were kind of standing awkwardly, no sure what to say or do. Finally, Frank spoke up.

"So, um, we have about a half hour to get there. Just a reminder," he said, looking a bit nervous. I nodded, signaling that I knew.

"Bro, you alright?" Leo glanced at Frank with a hint of amusement tracing his face.

"I'll probably throw up when I get there." Leo wrinkled his nose.

Then, grinning, Leo said, "Don't worry, Frankie. I probably will too."

"Ew! Both of you better stay away from me!" Percy exclaimed. I sighed and gave them all a look of weariness, which they took no notice of.

"All of you stop talking about barf! Just thinking of it is gonna make me throw up," Piper complained, glaring at Leo, Percy, and Frank.

Then, of course, Jason had to talk. Sorry, sing. "Barf, barf, barf, barf, vomit!"

"Jason, you might have the ability to save the freaking world, but it's obvious that you can't sing. At all," Leo and Hazel said in unison. Then they looked at each other in horror. I gave a small smile, which Leo just had to point out.

"OH MY GODS NICO IS SMILING!" Leo exclaimed. Trying to fight off the smile that tried to dominate my face, I covered my mouth with my hands. My half-sister grinned at me, and the others stared in wonder.
