The Blood of Titans

Chapter two Kira
I pushed open the door to find an empty gym. What the heck, where did they go? I walked to the middle of the basketball and looked around.
"Hello?" There weren't any other exits except where we came in through. As I was about to leave, I heard a hissing come from the bleachers. I turned to find a giant snakes slithering all threw the bleachers. My eyes widened as I slowly backed away. I was about to scream when a hand clamped over my mouth.
"Don't scream! They'll sense your scared." I turned to find the boy with the necklace and the boy with the crutches standing behind me. Except now the first guy didn't have crutches, but instead goat hooves.
"What the-"
"Quiet!" The second guy whisper/yelled. "We don't want to alert them."
"Who are you?"
"My name is Percy Jackson. This is my buddy Grover." The goat boy did a lil bow and revealed his horns. "At your service. Percy, I think this is the demigod we were looking for earlier."
"You sure?"
"She has to be! She couldn't have seen through Hazels Mist shield unless if she had some godly blood in her. She doesn't smell like a normal demigod though, but she does have something to her. Not monster and not nature spirit. Something I haven't smelled in awhile."
"Alright. When we finish off these basilisks, we'll call Chiron for a chariot out of here. I am SO done with Boston."
He turned back towards the snakes and pulled a pen out of his pocket
"What are you gonna do with that? It's a stupid pen!" I said.
"Just sit back and watch the magic new kid."
He pulled the cap off of the pen and out sprouted a three foot long glowing sword. It had some sort of inscription on it. Riptide. When the snakes saw it the started hissing and popped out a frill.
"How did you do that?"
"It's a present from an old friend."
"Ok are we gonna destroy these things or not?" Grover asked, pulling out something that looked like Peter Pans pipes. Is it just me or is that slightly less intimidating?
Grover started playing a song I couldn't understand and all of the sudden, snakes started turning into trees and bushes. Anything that didn't change charged forward at Percy and Grover. While Grover kept playing, Percy dashed forward and started cutting threw the snakes. Jab here, thrust there, taking out two or three at a time. The snakes were spewing fire and it was like it couldn't even touch him. Wait, snakes don't spew fire. What did Percy call them? Basilisks?
Percy and Grover must not of been able to get all of them because three of them started slithering towards me. I backed away, trying to call Percy or Grover. They lunged at me and I threw my hands up to block them, expecting the bite. Oh yea, great first day.
