The Son of Artemis

I was having a BAD day already and my girlfriend almost trying to kill me was not helping my day. I sat through 5th period trying to write an essay on the cultural events of Greece. Mrs. Ledrant stared at me while I shook my head in frustration. The bell rang and I put away my writing folder and took my backpack so i could get to lunch. The big football game against the redbulls was tonight and I had to get my protien. As I was rushing to the cafeteria, my best friend came up to me, "Hiya there Darren!" I smiled. "Terry, you know I have to get to lunch." Terry was on the football team to, but only as the kicker. "Darren you know the food there is radioactive!" Terry ruffled my streak white hair and ran off to his class. I got to the cafeteria just in time for the last salsibury steak. As I sat down my girlfriend sat beside me and kissed me on the cheek. I blushed and said, "How's my beautiful ray of sunshine?" She smiled and laughed. Her blonde hair made her dimples shine and her crisp blue eyes made her look like a mirage in the desert. Julie got up and whispered in my ear, "Meet me in the band room after school." She smiled and walked off, her blonde hair flowing behind her. I smiled and felt my arms go numb. That's what happens always when I'm around Julie. After lunch I sat through 6 other periods and when the last bell rang. I put my school stuff in my locker and got my football stuff. As I was about to go to the locker room I remembered, Julie. I ran to the band room and set my stuff outside. I walked in and the lights were off. "Julie?" I asked. The lights flickered and I saw a figure tied up in the corner of the room. I cautiously stepped towards it and took out my cell phone for light. Terry. I backed up gasping. "Thanks for coming" said a voice that softened my nerves. "Darren, you've been oblivious for to long." A hiss followed the sentence. The lights came on and a girl with green scales and a set of flames for hair was laughing. "Are you ready Darren? To die?" She then lunged at me

I dodged the strike and backed away. "Julie?" I asked confused. Julie got up and hissed. "Of course! I was sent to kill you from the underworld!!!" Terry's voice rang in my head. "Shes a empousai. Half snake half woman." Terry was trying to get out of the bonds and screaming at me. Julie slashed at me with flaming claws. I took my water bottle from my belt and poured water on her hair. "HHHHIIISSSS!!!!" Julie screamed and fell to the ground. Terry then took out a knife, cut his bonds and ran over to me. "HERE!" he yelled. I grabbed the knife and stabbed Julie. She exploded in golden dust and Terry laughed, with gold on his face, "Looks like were going to miss the game!" He then grabbed my hand and opened the band doors into the night.
