The Son of Artemis

I ignited my sword and charged at the men. Darren took the middle one and I kicked a random monster in the gut. The creature crumbled and shot a fireball at me. "Ha sucker! I'm immune to fire!" As soon as I said that I got kicked in the stomach and I crash into a statue of Ronald McDonald. The guy- lizard creature loomed over me with it's razor sharp claws. My sword was near the soda machine so I couldn't fight the monster. "Kid... you're over your head on this one." He brung his claws down but before it reached me a blade stuck through the monster's chest. He crumbled and Chloe sat there panting with golden dust on her knives. She knocked a piece of hair away from her face and stuck out her arm, "Shall we?" I replied, "We shall." And we ran to find the others.

Devin stood behind the counter and was shooting arrows at his guy but he kept knocking them away. I snuck behind the guy and was about to stab him when a hand grabbed my wrist. The leader. "Now Mason, you planning on killing my friend." I gulped and took my sword and swung. He dodged it easily. "You demigods never learn. You know, a employee was a demigod and came out to stop me before I came to you. Well, it did'nt end well..." I looked out the window and saw a woman's body laying. Lifeless. Darren was sneaking up on the guy but the monsster I was about to kill threw a fireball at Darren's chest but he dodged it and shot a silver arrow at him. It hit him square in the face and he bursted into dust. "Look, there are five of us and one of you." I looked around. The others were dead. "Uhh.. hey kids! Theres no reason to get agitated." He then slammed me into the wall and was choking me. I was running out of air. Then I blacked out.

I woke up to a TV blaring the real housewives of New Jersy and a shower running. I sat up and saw Chloe on the balcony talking to Darren. Dawn was on the other bed reading a book and when she saw me she closed it immiediently. "Wha- What happened?" Dawn smiled weakly. "Well we discovered the guys name. His name is Roman and he works with Melione. When he was choking you he shouted 'The son of Artemis shall meet his end! You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend! The fire's heir's final say! All demigods without Melione shall pay!' And I just stabbed him in the back, he's still alive because he dissapeared in a cloud of smoke." She told me Darren was explaining his life to Chloe and Devin was taking a shower. I asked her about the show she was watching. "Hey! They have the full season and I like it." She told me that Roman dropped a hotel card and we traveled to West Virginia to a hotel. I lay back and thought about the whole quest. Where was Hade's and why is Melione trying to take over the world? Then I fell asleep.
