The Son of Artemis

I was in my cabin packing for the quest. I was going on a quest! And with my girlfriend too... I loved Chloe. The first time we met was when I arrived at camp. I was being chased by demon bulls on Half Blood Hill, I was about ready to pass out about 50 feet away from the border. Then she came. She took a stick and whacked 5 bulls at once. Then took the sword my satyr gave to me, (His name was Herold. He was my best friend, and he got stabbed by the bull tamer's sword...) and stabbed the other bulls and when she was done she took me to the infirmary. Then every day she visited me. Then, on the sixth day, we kissed. A knock on my door knocked me out of my dream. (My brothers and sisters are at arts and crafts) I opened the door and saw Devin McQuain. "Are you ready?" he asked. I looked at my cabin and surveyed it, "Yeah... I'm ready..." and I walked with him.

At the top of the hill stood the five quest members, Me, Darren, Dawn, Devin, and Chloe. Mr.D stood with Chiron and was talking to Darren since he was the leader. I looked down Half blood Hill and saw yellow eyes look at me. I shook my head and looked again. They were gone. I told Chloe and she laughed. "Mason! You think monsters are waiting for us to step out of the border then attack us!?" She walked to talk to Dawn but I had bad feeling. I walked over to Devin. He was tinkering with his golden bow and looked up at me, "Hey Mason." I sat beside him. He had a jacket on with blue jeans and combat boots. "How did you get that bow?" He replied without looking up, "Apollo." I looked at my boots,"Oh." I waited about ten seconds before saying, "Devin, people say you're so young and so uptight. Why?" Devin sighed. "Mason. I witnessed my mother dying from a hellhound before I grabbed the address my mother wrote on a napkin for me and ran to camp... monsters need to die. They threaten our life. And my stupid father thought a bow could make up for him abandoning my mother and letting her die." A tear ran down his cheek and he looked away. Suddenly Dawn looked at me with a pained look. Then looked away. "Okay! It's time for your quest!" All the demigods gathered and stepped out of camp. Together. Finally.

The group was at a McDonald's near camp. It was dark and they had nowhere to sleep for the night. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and I wolfed down the burger. The food at camp was great! But I've been dying for a burger. Devin munched on a nugget and said, "So where is Melione and where is she keeping Hades?" The group of awesome demigods... scratched their heads. Dawn spoke, "Mr.D told me that a citezen spotted five ghosts whispering about a goddess in Chicago and they were keeping a god." Darren ate a fry, "So were going to Chicago." "Wait! What if Melione isn't in Chicago? Then what?" said Chloe. Darren's smile faded and he slumped in his seat. "Chiron said we only had two weeks to save Hades or the dead will get restless. Persephone can't run the underworld alone." Devin frowned, "It's the best lead we have so let's do it." We wolfed down the rest of our food and got out of the booth. We were about to leave when five guys in trench coats walked in. They blocked our way. Dawn said, "Um... excuse us..." The middle one said in a country accent, "Sorry lass... our boss told us to eliminate you now. Before you are a threat." Darren scowled and I drew my sword. Devin readied his bow and drew an arrow while Chloe pulled out her daggers. Darren pulled out a silver bow (which he said Artemis gave to him during her visit) and Dawn drew her dagger. The man threw his hands in the air and said, "Now children. No hard feelings but were going to have to kill you now" The men drew claws and grew a tail. The hats caught on fire and their hair turned into fire. And they lunged.
