The Son of Artemis

I sat with Terry near the lake and watched the fish go by. I sighed and skipped a rock over the water. Terry grabbed my shoulder, "Dude, you're going on a quest! Most demigods would kill for that." I shrugged his hand off and said "Yeah but Mr.D said I needed one more quest member and it needed to be a child of demeter according to the prophecy." Terry looked around. "How about Katie Gardener? She fought in the second titan war." I shook my head. "Nah." Just then a conch sounded in the distance. Terry stood up, "Is this another attack?!" he asked. Just then a boom sounded in the distance and two figures flew from the sky. They landed. A girl with flowing red hair landed while fighting a cyclopes. "That's Dawn!" said two voices behind me. One had short blonde hair and the other had cherokee skin and a feather in her brown hair. "I'm Piper, and this is my boyfriend. Jason Grace." Terry smiled. "Im Terry Sincora and this is Darren Clendale." Me and Jason shook hands. "We should probably help Dawn." he said so we ran over to the action.

I found a stick and charged at the monster. The cyclopes smacked away my weapon and grabbed my neck. I couldn't breathe. I scratched at the strong fingers but they wouldn't let go. I heard a girl's scream and the cyclopes roared. The girl with the red hair had stabbed the monster in the thigh. "Jason! Now!" yelled Dawn. Jason put his hands in the air. I was about to think he was going to wave them like he didn't care until lightning came down and struck the monster. It crumpled and Dawn gave a final stab. It turned to dust and dawn smiled. her red hair flowed around her shoulders. She walked over and tickled my chin and walked to her cabin. I knew the last person who was going on the quest.

Mr. D raised an eyebrow and said, "Dawn? She's new!" I stood up and yelled, "She saved the camp from a cyclopes!" Mr.D replied, "Yeah but the only reason because of that was your almost death." I looked to the ground and mumbled. Chiron intervened, "If Darren wants Dawn on the quest, then Dawn shall go." Mr. D frowned and dissapeared in a cloud of red and the smell of grapes filled the air. Chiron smiled and said, "Well... he's having one of his good days!"
