The Son of Artemis

A week after the Lycaon incident I walked into the woods. Which was dangerous but I could handle any monster in the woods. The leaves crunched under my feet and I thought about the quest Darren Clendale was going on. To save Hades. Now most demigods wouldn't say the simply wanted to save the lord of the dead but I needed a quest to go out into the real world. I was in the same situation Annabeth was in. Suddenly I heard a scream, "BOO!!!!". I screamed and turned. My boyfriend, Mason Judef, laughed. "Mason!!!" I shoved him. He was a son of Hepheastus and could fix anything. "So babe. Why are you in the forest?" I replied to Mason. "I don't know. Just... time to think." Mason smiled, "You want to go on the quest. Don't you?" I smiled but before I could reply my dream catcher glowed red. Mason made it for me to see if monsters are around or to store my stuff. It pulsed red and grew hot. "Uh... that's... unusual..." Mason said. "We should go." I said. RAWRR!!! A snake grew from the leaves. Not your average top of the day snake; but a fifteen foot snake.

Mason grabbed my arm and ran deeper into the forest. "Daggers out!" I yelled to my dream catcher. Four foot long golden blades came out and I ran harder. "Why not go to camp?!" I yelled at Mason. Mason huffed, "To prove you to be on that quest!" We ran some more until we got to Mason's cabins' bunker 9. "Get in!" he yelled. I opened the door and ran into the bunker. Mason came in five minutes later with a gash in his arm as he locked the door. I caught my breath and went to the bunker's weapon table. I grabbed a furturistic gun. "That's a dry ice matter seperator gun." Mason said, "Try it out." He got out a hunk of gold and set it on the table. I shot the gun which had a kick to it. The gold froze then dissapated. Mason smiled and walked towards me. He grabbed my face then my butt. "Mason!" He smiled, "This might be the last time we see each other. You know... the snake." He kissed me and fought for dominance. He deepened the kiss even more and slid his hands up my shirt. I slapped his hand but I kinda liked it. He put me on a couch and deepened the kiss even harder. After about five minutes of making out we stopped. We sat there for ten more minutes when we heard a roar from the snake. "Better go fight." So we walked out.

I snuck behind the snake carefully. My black curls bouncing on my shoulders. "FOR CAMP HALF BLOOD!!!!" I yelled and charged at the snake with my daggers in my hands. I slashed at the eye but missed. I vollied another strike and it found it's mark. The snake hissed and shot a liquid at me. Mason threw at shield at me and I let the goo hit the shield. Mason took out a sword and slashed at the snake. The snake hissed again anf flicked it's tail at Mason. Mason flew back and hit a log and crumpled to the ground unconcious. I shivered with rage. Mason lying there, and this stupid snake. I screamed and charged. The snake shot venom at me and it hit me in the chest. My shirt sizzled and it showed my bra and chocolate skin but it didn't hurt my flesh. I had no time to think so I slashed at the snake and brung my dagger down on it's eye. It shrieked and I stabbed it repeatedly. I dont know how much time passed but the snake was dead.

I carried Mason to camp. His shirt was smoking with venom, ( It showed some of his abs but whatever...) and he wasn't breathing so well. "Chiron!!! Will!!! Frank!!! Mr. D!!! ANYBODY!!!!" I screamed as I fell to the ground and lied there. Will solace came up to me with a darker figure with a black sword in hand. "Chloe!" Will screamed and I blacked out.
