The Son of Artemis

About a week later, Chiron gave me a tour of the camp. He showed me my cabin. It sparkled like the moon and had beds clustered around each other and chip bags littered the floor. Chiron ruffled his tail, "Sorry about the mess. The Hunters of Artemis are very messy." I looked at him with a puzzled look. "The Hunters of Artemis are a group of maiden girls dedicated to hunt with Artemis. They occupied the Artemis cabin when they were last here. Now, you're here." I sighed and shoved my hands in my pocket. "Yeah. I'm here." I said as I walked out the door.

I was walking from the Dining hall from lunch. I had free time after lunch on my schedule so I walked around. "DARREN!!!!" yelled a voice. I turned around and Terry was galloping towards me with two furry goat legs. I smiled and he tackled me to the ground. "Dude! Where have you been?!" Terry smiled and said, "I was with my girlfriend in the woods for a week!" My eyes widened. "You have a girlfriend?" Terry nodded. "Her name is Savannah. She's a water nymph!" I high fived him. "Gotta go to a satyr meeting but I'll see you." He ran off. I went to my cabin and sat on my bed. I took out a picture of my dad. He had blonde hair and he was the coach of my football team. He would be looking for me, or Artemis told him about me. What was so special about my dad that made Artemis break her oath?

A knock sounded on my door. I looked up and ran to the bathroom. The door opened and about 16 girls walked in. One with a silver circlet around her head said, "Find him." In about 5 minutes a girl opened the bathroom door and smiled. "Found him." she said. She grabbed my arms and pulled me into the main room of the cabin. The youngest girl with red hair looked me in the eye with a smile. "What do you want?!" I yelled in her face. The girl grew to 6 foot and her hair turned silver. A bow was strapped to her back and she said, "Darren! My sweetie!" she hugged me and kissed me. "It's me! Artemis! These are my hunters!" The other girls waved. This is Artemis.

This woman was my mom.
