The Darkness Is Coming

Chapter 2
Percy’s P.O.V.

After they got Rachel setting up everyone was looking at me, why not I was in the prophecy again. Why did it always have to be me? There was now another one and so far 7 including this one have been writing about me. I mean come one can’t they leave me alone.
I should not be complaining because my birthday was in ten days so it was almost a year without anything telling me to die. They stared at me for about 5 minutes before anything happened, luckily Rachel broke the silence.
“Well it looks like I can get hijacked and speak provinces now, yay!” She said the whole thing very sarcastically but it helped lighten the mood.
I looked over at Annabeth. “ Looks like I am in another quest, want to come”
“Ya” she looked distracted though
“so..” I said still looking at her while everyone else was looking at me. Alot of unwanted attention, like always. I had an urge to say who should I ask like I did 4 years ago,but then I knew Annabeth would kill me and it looks like I need to be alive, so I didn’t.”Who should come with us?”
A couple seconds of nothing and then she looked up.”Oh sorry. Well the prophecy says the dove so Aphrodite cabin but it also says fire so Leo or the Hephaestus cabin.
“Um” said Piper “The line when it says He will have her unless the dove frees her from the jail, sounds more like like love not one of us so it would be from Hephaestus cabin.
“OK” I said I turned to them ”so who wants to come?”
Leo got up ”Death,more crazy monsters, sure why not I’ll go. Sounds like fun!” He had a crazy smile
“Ok” Chiron said “with that it is time for bed and Leo Annabeth and Percy meet hear before breakfast to start your quest.” We got up and left for the night I walked Annabeth to her cabin
“Percy you know the second line of the prophecy in the cursed hotel do you know what that means?” She looked at me like I should know it and she wasn’t happy about it.
“No?” I said
“It means that we are going back to the Lotus Casino.” Then she kissed me and went to bed. I went to my cabin. The Lotus Casino, the place where you could be there for 65 years and it only feels like a month, and we had to back.
