Annabeth's POV

• There he was, by the lake. Well, I couldn't be surprised. I mean, when you go looking for Percy, the first place you check is by water. I was supposed to be mad at him. How could I be mad at him? I mean, look at him, he's practically on fire from being so hot! And I don't mean temperature. I've blushed over him a thousand times but never like this. This past month has been confusing. I blush more, I can't stop looking at Percy, and I want to hug him whenever he looks at me. I'm not much of a model with my blonde hair that doesn't stay in place and my grey eyes and I won't even mention my size. I'm not obese or anything, but i'm not a size two either, Meghan. I guess I wouldn't win the prettiest girl with no makeover pageant. He was definitely one of the hottest guys. He had black hair and piercing green eyes. He was more athletic looking than a professional football player and was probably the hottest guy in camp. Well, in my opinion. I can't believe turned down his apology.

FLASHBACK-ish

Percys POV

It was right after lunch when we had the fight. I was still eating a cookie that I stol- borrowed... from the Apollo cabin. I wanted to talk to Annabeth.. like.. talk, talk.. So I asked if she wanted to come with me to the lake and finish the bag of cookies I had.
"Hmm?" She asked, still not looking up from her notebook of architecture designs that she made.
"The lake?" I repeated.
"Uh.. Well in a bit. I want to finish my recreation of Connecticut. " She said.
I wish she had looked up for a second because her grey eyes always soothed my anger, but she didn't.
"Yeah, well, maybe you should stop creating stupid designs of stuff that will never happen and come with me for a while!" I raged. I really wish I could have taken that back right after I said it. She looked up with utter pain in her eyes. I had hurt her. Bad. She looked like she was about to crawl in a hole and die."No, Annabeth, I-" I tried to take it back, but the words were said and I couldn't stop them from haunting her.
"Fine, Percy! Just go! I did want to go to the lake and I had one more window to do! It would've taken two minuets! But no! Well fine!" She yelled.
I felt really bad now.
"Annabeth.. I'm sorry! I shouldn't have said that!" I pleaded.
"No, cry me a river, build yourself a bridge and get over it. Maybe i'll put the your bridge in Connecticut!" She said, turning to walk away. Gods! I loved her! I wanted to kiss her until dawn. But I have a bridge to build.

Annabeth's POV

Just walk up to him. Just do it. I can do it. No I can't. JUST DO IT! FINE!
I walked up to Percy and sat next to him casually. "Hi." I said. "Hey.."
"I'm sorry about earlier. I just get protective about my drawings and what I have to finish.." I explained. "No, i'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. It was wrong and I take it back."
"That was cheesy." I said.
"What?"
"The apology.... It was cheesy."
"Well at least I apologized!"
"Only a seaweed brain would apologize like that."
"Shut up."
"I want to tell you something."
"That im a terrible person and I have no right-"
The rest sounded like blah blah blah because I got lost in his eyes.
He was talking for to long.
So I shut him up.
With my lips.
On his lips.
"How did you do this to me, seaweed brain?"
