One Shots
Jeyna
Well, this one here is made out of my personal #1 ship of all time (and I don't even feel ashamed anymore), Jeyna!
So ladies and gentleman, without further ado, I present to you my very first one-shot!!
__________________________________________________________________________
Fire crackling, children carolling, colourful lights blinking, another usual Christmas night for Reyna. Everything was beautiful, the Venus kids helped her with the decorations in her cabin. Snow were falling, people were dancing, everything was perfect. Yet Reyna felt like something was missing, or maybe, a someone.
She made herself a cup of hot chocolate and headed for her bedroom. She took out old photos, crinkled and yellow at the edges, capturing moments when Jason and herself was at the utter most happiness. She looked at one of them, a special one for her, the day when he kissed her, the day right before his disappearance. They were laughing, his arms slung over her shoulder like he's done it everyday. Back then things were simpler, they were happy, and young, and free.
Holding her cup of hot chocolate on her right hand and the photograph in the other, she walked towards her front door, opening it and letting the cold winter air enter her warm cabin. Outside, it definitely looked like Christmas, each demigod, legacy, and lare's heart filled with Christmas joy, the spirit of Christmas inside them. Reyna can't deny that she felt the same way too, but she felt something else inside her heart too, longing.. and loneliness.
She closed the door and sat down cross-legged on her couch, facing the warm and burning fireplace. Even the warmth from the fire can't stop Reyna from shivering.. Still looking at the photo, the photo that was dear for her, a teardrop fell to the picture. Dropping right on top of his smiling face. "I miss you, Jason.." She whispered softly to herself. Knowing that the love of her life was spending his Christmas happily in Camp Half Blood with his new friends, living his new life, with his new girlfriend. More tears fell down her cheeks as she knew how meaningless she was to him, just a piece of dust, nothing to think about.
But little did she know, he was doing the exact same thing, feeling what she felt too, sitting in front of the campfire, looking at their old photos, missing her as much as she misses him...
