One Shots

It was the final battle. Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter was at war because Octavian decided to fire the first onager, the fiery celestial bronze and imperial gold ball flew in the air before hitting Zeus’ Fist, leaving the area near it into a raging inferno. The seven with Nico and Reyna were fighting Gaea herself. Percy and Annabeth had their backs against each other, fighting most of the monsters. Everyone was cut and bruised, but none would give up, none could give up. The fate of the entire world is in their hands, they couldn’t give up now. Gaea was weakening from the attack from the demigods and the charmspeak Piper used against her. Mother Nature might be weakening, but so were the demigods. The son of Hades was especially drained, he transported the Athena Parthenos almost halfway around the world. Gaea roared in defeat and anger and she intended that if she got defeated, she wouldn’t let the demigods win either. She glowed with a blinding aura as she was about to explode and kill every demigod since they were all gathered here. They all knew that the inevitable was coming, the end of the world as we know it. Percy and Annabeth were huddled together on the ground, they were hugging each other and Percy was giving her small kisses and comforting her, even from the distance he can’t help but to hear an exchange of “I love you”s between the two. Nico blinked the tears out of his eyes and he was the only person who was standing and charging towards Gaea. He stretched his arms and made a dark wall of shadow to contain the explosion. She exploded and Nico was thrown back. The shadow did contain the explosion, but it left Nico on the ground, dying. Percy ran to his side and Nico smiled weakly and sang,
“You are my sunshine;
my only sunshine;
you keep me happy when skies are gray;
you’ll never know how much I love you..”
Nico coughed up blood and winced.
“So please don’t take my sunshine away..” Percy finished for him. Nico gave him a weak smile and the light leaved the son of Hades’ eyes…
