One Shots

Annabeth was sitting in front of the fireplace inside the Athena cabin, wrapped in a blanket and sitting on the wooden floor, staring at the flames that slowly burns out the firewoods. She sighed as she heard all the lively chatter from outside as the other campers indulged in the campfire activity that was held every night. She was sitting alone, only with her own thoughts for company. Everybody, including her girlfriend, Piper Mclean, was outside, laughing away as the Apollo cabin led the sing-alongs. The door slowly creaked open and Annabeth turned her gaze from the crackling fire to whoever stood at the door. “Hey, Annie.” Piper said. Her face was red from all the laughing and from the intense heat of the bonfire. Annabeth smiled but then turned to look at the fire in front of her again. “Annabeth, what’s wrong?” Her girlfriend asked, sitting next to her on the floor and slinging an arm around her shoulders. Annabeth shook her head and said nothing. “Come on.. tell me. Please, Annie.” Piper pleaded. She wanted to use her charmspeak but Annabeth once made her promise to never use charmspeak on her, so she didn’t use her godly-given abilities. Annabeth thought of everything that she and the daughter of Aphrodite has been through together, the hard times, the good times, the magical ones… She sighed and finally gave in to Piper’s puppy eyes. “Do you-“ She stopped suddenly and took a deep breath. “Do you love me?” She finally said, looking straight at Piper’s kaleidoscopic eyes that twinkled with bewilderment and amusement as soon as she heard the words come out from the daughter of Athena’s mouth. Piper laughed and Annabeth just glared at her. “Oh..” The brunette said, coughing and immediately stopped laughing. “You were serious.” Annabeth just rolled her eyes and sighed. “Of course I do, Annabeth! How can I not? You’re the most wonderful person I’ve ever met! You’re intelligent, beautiful, smart, amazing, totally hot,” Piper said that made Annabeth blush. “You’re overall an amazing person.. How can I not love you?” Piper said, kissing her flustered cheeks. Annabeth mentally made a list on how Piper could not love her but kept her mouth in a thin line. “I love you, alright?” Piper said, trying to convince her girlfriend. Annabeth nodded but still acted sad and not as energetic as she usually is. Piper rolled her eyes and stood up, putting out an arm for Annabeth to take. “Take my hand, Ms. Chase. I’m going to show you just how much I love you.” Piper said, smiling and looking at the blonde that sits in front of her. Annabeth’s lips quirked up a little bit as if she was trying to suppress a smile and took the other demigod’s outstretched hand. As soon as Annabeth stood up, Piper ran and dragged her outside. The others were still enjoying themselves at campfire time and Piper puts her index finger in front of her lips, signalling for Annabeth to stay quiet as she hugged the walls and sneaked behind the Athena cabin and to the darkness behind it. Annabeth followed her until they got to the lake. There were little parts where the water meets land and there were a little patch of sand there. “What are we doing here?” Annabeth hissed-whispered. Piper ignored her question and pointed up to the dark night sky. “See them? The stars above us?” Piper asked, pointing up with her hand and holding Annabeth’s with the other. “Count them, Annie, and the amount would show how much I love you.” “That’s ridiculous, Piper, no one could count the actual amount of the stars in this universe.” Annabeth said, confused on why she asked her to do the impossible. “Alright then,” Piper said and took a handful of sand. “Can you count how many grains of sand are in my hand right now?” Piper asked again. “No, Piper.. Am I supposed to feel bad or something?” Annabeth asked. Piper laughed and kissed the gray eyed demigod. “No. Because my love for you is the same amount as the stars in this universe and all the sand in this universe.” Piper said, tucking a loose piece of hair behind Annabeth’s earlobe. Annabeth finally smiled a real smile and pulled Piper back into another deep kiss. “Alright. I believe you. I love you too, my Beauty Queen.” Annabeth whispered and giggled. This time it was the blonde’s turn to drag her girlfriend. They kept on running and giggling and went to the strawberry fields and they fell tumbling on each other’s bodies. They stayed on the ground laying next to each other and stared at each other’s eyes which twinkled in excitement and full of love for each other. Soon, Piper was laying on her back on the ground with Annabeth laying her head on the brunette’s stomach as Piper played with her blonde curls. They stayed there for hours, just cuddling and giggling in the dark. It was after curfew and if the harpies found them, they’d be dead… literally. “We should go back…” Annabeth whispered reluctantly, not really wanting to go. “I don’t want to go.” Piper answered, sighing as the daughter of Athena and daughter of Aphrodite cuddled in the middle of the strawberry fields. “Me neither…” The blonde answered. “I love you.. you know that right?” Piper whispered. “I know..” Annabeth answered, the smile heard clearly in her soft voice. “I love you too… never would I stop loving you.” She whispered as she closed her eyes, starting to feel drowsy in the safe arms of her girlfriend. “Never would I stop loving you…” Piper whispered as well and planted a kiss on her forehead. Just like the daughter of Athena, Piper closed her eyes and fell asleep as their drowsiness both dragged the couple to the realm of dreams…

Surprisingly I don't find this hard to write at all
I may not ship Pipabeth that hard (before) but it wasn't that hard imagining a scene
