The New Demigods

The day after capture the flag, I was sore all over from falling out of a tree when Elle cut me down. Why did she have to do it like that? Anyway, today, I had to visit the oracle. She was a nice lady and seemed happy that she just went under trances to tell people that they might die. Its a weird career choice if you ask me. I would never want to do that. Chiron suggested it because all I had really done since coming here was play capture the flag. And he was right. It makes me feel kind of useless when all these other campers are doing quests and I'm not doing anything!
When I got there, the lady got scared. And I mean actually scared. At first, she wouldn't come out from behind the couch in the room. Chiron said that he had never seen that reaction. So this is the prophecy that I got.

"What does that mean?"
Of course, she didn't even remember what she said. I had once heard that three demigods were required to go on a quest, and this one sounded ominous. It was obviously about a demigod, but I don't think that he is either Greek or Roman. I asked Annabeth about it. I really only had to ask one other demigod because I knew that Annabeth wouldn't let me go on my first quest alone. I was thinking Jonas could, but he can be a little sarcastic and hard to understand. Kate over reacts and is a little evil sometimes. Elle would tie me up again. So I was thinking May. She and I work well together. We can kill fast and without arguing. The only thing is, Annabeth doesn't like May that much. But I do if you know what I mean.
"Oh come on Annabeth! She is really good at killing monsters!"
"I already told you no!"
"I don't care! She can help us, Annabeth!"
"If she can prove herself, she can come."
"You are such a control freak!"
"Look! I am doing this for your own safety!"
"What is dangerous about going on a quest with May? She is a girl just like you! Are you jealous?"
"James I am not jealous!" She started to choke up and get teary eyed. "No James! I just don't want to see another Athena kid die from a Hephestus kid again! I...I...I could never forgive myself. Please just choose someone else."
She walked away crying. I felt so bad. I didn't know that one of her own siblings died because of a Hephestus kid. No. One of our siblings. I need to remember that I am part of all of this now. I cant forget.
I chose Jonas. We are a team now. But I guess you could say that the team is a little lopsided. Two Athena and one Hades. Somehow we made it work though. We are an amazing team. I don't know where we could have gone to complete the quest. But I have an idea. I think that we are going to have to go to Camp Jupiter! The Roman demigod camp.
"Annabeth! I know where we have to go!"
"How could you know?"
"We have to go to the roman castra."
"James, what did you just say?"
"Umm, I said the Roman Camp? What did you think that I said?"
"James you just said that in Latin! Oh my gods! You are him!"
"Who?"
"Never mind that. We need to get going. Jonas?"
"On it!"
We are going to Camp Jupiter by shadow traveling. Again, no one talked. I wonder what will happen when we get there.
