Tears and Flowers

I walked into school wearing my combat boots, jeans, and a New Orleans t-shirt. I sat down next to Cicilia, in front of Fai and Nick, who sat next to Reena and Gili. Fai immediately started insulting me. "How's life today, oh, wait, idiot's don't have lives!" She and Nick started laughing. When we headed to gym class, I sat dreaming of a way to escape as our teacher droned on about the circulatory system. All of a sudden, then large round window closest to me exploded. A boy with black hair and sea green eyes jumped out onto one of the basketball hoops. He then pushed off onto the climbing rope, and swung out onto the floor into a fighting stance. "I need Ginlee?!" he said, in a half-question, half-yell. All eyes turned to me. "Freak" muttered Jake. I stood up and turned around. "Get your crap together!" I yelled. All of a sudden, I was hit with a warm, red-gold glow, and felt a comforting heat over my head. "C'mon, daughter of Hestia!" the boy muttered to me. He wrapped a hand around my waist, and another, blonde boy appeared in the window. He stuck out his hand, and Percy grabbed the rope. A sudden wind pushed us outward, and at the last second Percy let go, grabbed the basketball hoop again, and swung upwards and out the window. Oh, I was screaming the whole time. I started screaming harder as we fell through the air, and as cringed, preparing to hit the ground, a large black shape hurtled beneath us. I hit the black shape with an Ooomf! and I opened my eyes to see a blonde haired, gray-eyed girl leaning over me. A brunette with choppy braids and green-gray-blue-brown-purple eyes came into my view. "Well, she looks fine to me, probably just a little shocked." "She'll be even better when we get her to camp!" said the black haired boy from the front of the black shape. "What the heck?" I asked. "Just sleep" said the blonde, as I closed my eyes to the steady thumping of the black thing's feet beneath me.
